I have been told this a lot. SW was almost 300 pounds, so i had a lot of weight to lose, but people see me now and automatically assume that i weigh less than i do because i carry my weight well. So i have been told that my 208 pound body looks like i am 150 pounds, so it is time to stop now, because i am too thin. I laugh…

Hi, i just love this thread! I am 50, and have lost 82 pounds over the last year. I still have another 18 pounds to go. Log your food, exercise or at least stay active, Try to stay within your calorie allotment for the day. Welcome back!! I tend to go back to the same old, same old as well, so every now and then i try and switch it up. Alot also depends on the time of year. In the summers i love smoothies in the morning, and i just pick a different one each day. I love hot cereal and a mashed banana at this time of year, it warms the belly.…

Hi, i too eat junk. I think the reason a lot of people have been successful in their weightloss is because they are honest and log everything they eat. I do like the occasional treat, and some weeks, i have more than others. I buy stuff in quantity control. For instance if i want chocolate, i buy small packages ( like you…

I know some people say that bananas do cause constipation for them. I , myself, have never had this problem. I eat anywhere form 1 to 2 bananas a day. I have been doing it since i started my new lifestyle. I put them in smoothies, and on toast with peanutbutter. I might be something else in your diet that is causing it.…

Dont diet, choose a new way of eating! Whatever you do, make sure that your choices are maintainable for life. Dont give up something now, that you are going to struggle with later.Everything in moderation!!!

I have lost 75 pounds and my cup as well as my band size have changed. Was not as surprising as my foot size changing though!!!

This idiot has just joined the group. I was weighing everything, one at a time as well. Dont feel bad, i think sometimes, things just dont dawn on us, even though it is probably common sense! Making life easier is what it is all about!!

I used to eat less, but always felt like i was starving myself. I now eat between 1800-2000, and i have lost a total of 73 pounds.I also have much more energy!

I have lost 72 pounds, and my cycle was fine up until about three months ago. Now i have my cycle more often then usual! I too will be going to see a doctor, but i think it has alot to do with the exercise, losing the weight and entering that time of my life!

Hi Hanna, i am a mother of two older children, now on their own. I have raised my family and now need to spend time on me. I have been the mom and wife, but wasnt taking care of myself for years. I have just finished losing over 70 pounds, but still have another 30 or so to go! I am on every day, and plan on doing so, for…

It used to bother me too, but i have learned to accept it! Its life, and it isnt going to change. I weigh every day now, so i can see the whole trend. When i start to gain, i log it like usual, and treat it as any other number, that i have logged for the past 3 weeks. It took awhile, but i worked through it

I really dont know! When i was younger, i never had to show id, since i looked much older than i was. Now, i dont think i look my age, and some people cant believe it when i tell them that i am 50!

Making friends is not always easy, and some people can be very insensitive. I have met a really great group of people on MFP. We are all here for the same goals, and therefore have alot in common. We strive for the same things, help eachother along the way and have made friends doing so. If you want you can add me.
