Update: Polka dot dress was way too awesome to pass up! I have purchased my wedding dress! http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_strapless-polka-dot-mesh-ball-gown-wg3764 It's almost 14 months out, but the 8 fit beautifully (fully zipped and clasped without having to suck anything in), so I ordered that. The consultant said…

I'm way too cheap to think actual designer, so they're all just from DB. Two are empire waist (currently strapless sweetheart, but I'd definitely need to add straps) one of which I've tried on, so it's the current dress to beat, and the other three are A-line with a more "natural" waist. Two of those are also strapless…

My MOH and I are doing another round of dress shopping on Saturday with the expectation that I'll be making a purchase! We've already narrowed it down to a Top 5 (or so). Wedding is the end of October 2016, but I have a VERY busy fall with a lot of work travel and grad school wrapping up, so I'm trying to get this done…

Sometimes I'm thankful that photos don't load at work.

I friended @MoHousdon right after posting that and she responded by calling me a creep on the board so... ;)

^That was my first contribution to this thread. (On page 27) I'm super bored at work today.

The second episode is stitting on my DVR because I haven't felt bothered enough to watch it. I was highly unsatisfied by the premiere, even though I know I should give it another shot.

THIS! I keep super minty gum on me all the time for that very reason. It's an instant-stop until the aspirin can kick in.

I feel like I know a LOT of people who have done this with spicy stuff, so you're definitely not alone. I hate getting food under my nails, so I wear gloves when I prep wet/goopy/sticky stuff or I would TOTALLY have done this myself.

Seconded. Though, the dedication is impressive. Plus, then you'll really get to know the folks who have stuck around by the time you get to the present! :)

But at least you're doing it right! Seriously though, there's nothing wrong with drinking. Just don't put anybody else at risk by doing something silly like driving, and make sure that you take care of you. And your liver. You'll need that sucker later. :)

I have, and they kind of work, but I've found that moderate caffeine intake, combined with coupious amounts of water and a minimum of 7 hours sleep (preferably 8 or 9) has done a far better job of keeping them at bay. Totally personal, so I can't run around shouting that I've found the cure, but it's working for me without…

Mine too! Started about a year ago (early 30s onset is common). I've only had two full-blown ones, because I started making adjustments as soon as the first one happened, and figuring out what was mostly likely triggering them. I've had inklings since then, but have managed to keep them at bay by chugging water, and taking…

It's about Masters & Johnson, and their medical study about human sexuality. Though, it's full of drama and such to make good TV, of course! I liked it a lot more before this current season. I personally feel like too much time has passed in the course of the show, without a whole lot really happening/changing/etc. But,…

I'm supposed to be slacking off work by doing homework, and I've gone so far as slacking off homework to browse the ridiculous other threads on the boards. So far, underwhelming.

Will do! (Who's jealous?!)

Staying both times, since it's Monday-Thursday for training sessions. September 21-24 and October 26-29. Not that they'd have bothered giving us the hotel information yet, of course, because that would be helpful.

Confession: I'm SEETHING at my employer right now. I'm already scheduled to be at a different lab location (Teterboro, NJ) for two seperate weeks this fall (one in September, one in October) and NOW they also want to send me to Baltimore for a two day "new leadership training" in early November. Exactly when am I supposed…

I think it generally depends on the relationship between the parents. I have friends getting married with both having divorced folks. Hers get along just fine (they've been divorced for almost 20 years) and his won't speak to one another. She's still planning to seat each with their respective family though, not with one…

I have the opposite "problem" from this. I refer to my extra weight as "my squish" because it's what keeps me squishy (like, I have really strong core muscles...but you can't see them - ha!), and Dave gets annoyed with me when I talk about having to get rid of it because it's stupid. He's all "you're perfect the way you…

The brown ones are "Indian" corn. They also come in approximately 65 different color combinations and flavors now though. Some fall-inspired (caramel apple), and some just weird (cotton candy).

It's phrases like these that make me love the international dynamic we have in here. Confession: I took today off with the intention of getting lots of homework done. I'm now thinking about baking something and watching documentaries all day. Motivation fail. ;)

Seriously! Do we just need to role call every now and then?

I might have gone with sliced bananas over already cooked oatmeal in your case. With cinnamon, because cinnamon is amazing.

Hi back!

Seconded. We always seem to scare the dudes off after a bit.

My powers continue! Welcome! Side note: THIS IS EXACTLY WHY THIS THREAD IS SO IMPORTANT

I was actually considering taking my run outside today. But I'm supposed to lift, so it seems silly to go to the gym AND run around outside. I still might do it!

Yessssss! I feel like a super hero (villain?) right now. Hi!

If it's important to you, you make the time. :)
