If your numbers are accurate, you are eating 1200 calories and burning at least 300, up to 900. This lead you a net of 300 to 900 calories if you do not eat them back. This is unhealthy. 1) Its only been two weeks, give it time. 2) As you are are already using the lower estimate of you calories burn, you intake estimate is…

Broken scale or a troll.

Bolthouse Farms yogurt dressing. Its in the produce section. 35-45 cals per tablespoon for creamy dressings.

Things like cucumbers and onions have so few calories, especially the amount I would add to a salad, that I may not even bother logging them. Dressing, proteins, and any other fats I make sure to weigh.

Being a parent of a young one is usually a good reasons to adjust your activity level from "sedentary" to "light." Socajam, I guess you have never dressed a toddler?

Nope. There is no black hole in his stomach. This is a common helpless victim mentality I know I use to have. He may have more lean body mass than you, so he can eat more, but there is no such thing as naturally fit.

You can eat you daily calories however you want, but I myself wouldn't care to drink them--i.e. I'd skip the OJ. I understand the need for coffee but I like mine (and luckily always have) with sweetener. And no reason to eat disgusting oatmeal. One month is not long enough time to panic. Keep at and give it time. As others…

You will stop losing weight when you hit your maintenance level of calories for that weight. So just throwing out numbers, if your goal is 130 lbs, assuming to maintain 130 lbs you need to eat 1600 calories, you will continue to lose weight as long as you eat less than 1600 calories.

BTW, I use 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil to make my ~320 Calorie popcorn. So good.

"I Can't Believe its not butter" is a mix of oil and water. That's why is has less calories. You can accomplish the same by using less oil. In both cases you will need the same amount of fat (oil) to cook the veggies in the same way. Thus you gain nothing by using ICBINB accept for a different taste.

I do, but sometimes on vacation, I have cheat weeks. In that case, I just start over when I get back from vacation.

So you are probably underestimating how much food you eat. As this is working for you, I say stay with it. Underestimating on Calories in, while over estimating calories out (on the calories out side, overestimating a negative number would be that same as underestimating a positive number). I don't think you should…

Trial and error. Start at 50% from whatever method you have at your disposal and see what the long term results are.

Like others said, it depends on the dish. For dishes that really aren't good reheat, I prep the ingredients. For instance, I made dish that started by sauteing a mix of onions, peppers, and spices. I had that mix already chopped up and in a container in the fridge. When it was time to cook, it was very little effort on my…

Yes. If you burn a reasonable amount, you are putting yourself in a higher than expected deficit. Encouraging people not to eat back exercise calories could be encouraging a VLCD, depending on their normal calorie goal. As there are a lot of women hear shooting for 1200 calories and men, 1500, that would include a lot of…

I weigh every day, but my official weigh in day is Thursday so I don't lose focus caused by the swings that the weekend indulgences can cause. Every weekend I "gain" at 2-5lbs--they are typically gone by Thursday and usually a little more as well.

How do you know you have been "eating properly?" You just created your MFP account on 2/10. Why are you ate 1100 calories? You are likely not eating enough calories to lose weight safely, but that is not the reason why you are "not losing."
-
You can go back and adjust your old weigh-ins by the amount different between the two scales. But remember to goal is not to weigh less, but to have less fat. A scale is just a tool in helping determine how much fat you are losing.

As long as you drink enough fluids and don't get backed up, no. How do you accomplish that? I struggle to hit 38 g and that is with a supplement.
-
No reason to do that. Mayo says up to 4 cups. I have seen other studies that say more is fine and there is no amount that is "bad." http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/caffeine/art-20045678 I use splenda and like it. I switched from sweet and low as I was finding S&L harder to…

You need to eat more. Also, more protein well help you keep full. Yogurt, cereal and a cheese sandwich would not do it for me. Check my diary if you want.

Most the rules of thumbs have little to no basis. The most reasonable ones I have heard relate to the color of your urine (tint of yellow) and the firmness of your stool (banana). The urine one is based on Army guidance to prevent heat stroke. The stool recommendation is what a colorectal Surgeon recommended to me.

Yes, at your weight many will suggest closer to 1 lb /week. This is not. Plus you should eat back at least half your exercise calories.

If fat loss without weight loss is what you want, then recomposition is what you are doing. Check this out: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10177803/recomposition-maintaining-weight-while-losing-fat/p1

I don't think your can go from 15 to 25% BF, only gain 2lbs in 9 months. You measurement method for BF is probably not that accurate. As others said, you are eating more than you realize. Especially considering the amount of exercise you are doing and you are not eating back those calories.
-
Are you a woman? 15% BF is very fit for a woman.

Its pretty good for most of us, especially at the two extreme ends. I agree that if you are someone who focuses on building muscle, probably doesn't apply well. But if it says your obese, you probably are or at least overweight. Likewise, OP, you probably are underweight. OP, why are you on MFP? What kind of exercise do…

What? Where did you get this from? I can speak from personal experience that this is not the case. In fact, the guidance on giving statins has changed for those only in "High." My doctor has continuing recommended not for me to go on statins as my levels have been going down with diet and exercise alone, from Very High to…

Did your Doctor recommend that? Is that a typo for your LDL level-2400? I didn't think LDL could be in the thousands as above 190 is considered very high. To answer your question, yes you can, but get your levels within a reasonable range first and then discuss with your doctor a plan to get off of them.
