Oh, I completely agree with you on the not relying on Google :) I have more than a week before I can see my doctor and I thought I would ask folks here if they have experienced the same as it hurts to even turn over in bed :) Mostly concerned about not being able to lift at the moment though :(

I think of it more as retaining water. When I do not drink enough water, my body holds on to it. When I begin to drink a lot more water, yes I pee a lot, but it is flushing through the system like a constant stream ... which in my mind is a good thing. I log everything that goes into my mouth ... Peanut M&Ms, Girl Scout cookies, Chocolate Halo Top ice cream ... I fit it into my calories. Discipline and creating habits of eating more protein to satiate my cravings have been key for me.

Log everything that goes into your mouth ... after you have weighed and measured. You could simply be retaining water this week. I have gained two pounds this week, but I am sure just water weight from lifting. Patience is definitely the key. Best wishes! x

For Keto "flu", I have tried a few things .... Coconut water mixed with Orange PowerAde Zero, PowerAde Zero mixed with water, snack on pork rinds or an ounce of OJ with 3 saltines have all worked for me.

Ahhh I totally get you! I will eat back half of my calories from any cardio I may do for that day. But, I figure my Fitbit counts those steps as well and only seems it would double the calories burned, like the steps I make during Zumba class while also logging the Zumba class as cardio workout. But, what about those many people who do not have a Fitbit or for me as mine is new? I sit 8 hours at my desk and I feel the Fitbit is more a tool for me to get moving more

I just do not log or eat back my Fitbit calories. Sometimes my Fitbit counts steps and I am driving at the time ... so I cannot be sure it is accurate for me. I like my Fitbit though for the Heart Rate feature and for giving me an idea of how many steps I may be doing each day.

Coffee is my first breakfast, second breakfast isn't until the afternoon and my supper, which is most of my calories, isn't until evening. Totally doable :)

^ All this ... love. When I started lifting while losing weight, StrongLifts worked for me to build strength. But, it I really noticed the difference after I added more calories and changed up my lifting program after I did 12 weeks of 5x5. Like the others said ... it does take time and patience :)
