Well, for one, I'm 28 and live alone. And two, my mom HATES that I weigh and track my food. I think she knew how obsessive I'd get even before I did. They just want me to eat and be well and not worry. I just feel like my metabolism is destroyed and one false meal or an added rest day would ruin all my progress.…

I really a want to try this. I think it will help with my anorexia if I'm not so focused on numbers and logging. My parents would feel better, too. They're scared to death for me. :anguished: I'm way too terrified, though. :frowning:

The elliptical does suck when I'm doing it everyday. I usually only do it once a week to get some low impact cardio in and give my hips and feet a rest. I'm going to try running tomorrow and I hope it goes well!

I'm right there with you on missing running. I suffered a groin pull in my last half and have been doing the elliptical/bike/walking for the past week. I'm going to try running again on Wednesday, I hope it's better because I have another half-marathon on Saturday! Eek! I think even if it's not as good as it could be, I"m…

I cook more than I bake, simply because if I bake...I might not be able to control myself. haha. Yesterday I did make a Sopapilla cheesecake that turned out amazingly. My family ate it up! I left two pieces for my parents and took two for myself. I did adjust the recipe by using lower calorie items and nixing the sugar for…

I made this for my family last night and they all DEVOURED it! It was a big hit! So thank you very much for sharing it! I don't get to cook for people very often and when I do I'm always thrilled when they actually like it!

So, I've totally stopped visiting other forums/threads besides this thread and the Gelato and Ice Cream group.

Saw this today at the Easton Town Center in Columbus! A nice, healthy line outside of Jeni's!

Tried the Talenti Mediterranean Mint last night and really enjoyed it! I love mint chocolate chip ice cream! Tonight I'm going to try Graeter's Dark Chocolate Truffle. Yum!

Ah, see, I am at maintenance. I don't have any more weight to lose. I actually, probably, need to gain weight. But fear and anxiety, those two jerks, are pretty loud. Thanks, though! I'm going to try it out, probably this weekend.

How do you guys reconcile cheat days? I'm pretty much being encouraged on all sides to calm down for a least a day or a weekend with the logging and strict eating and have a cheat meal or two. But having my cals in the red is something I don't particularly enjoy seeing and have only done it once since starting (It was last…

So, last weekend I was in Cleveland, OH for a 5k and a Half-Marathon. I decided this would be a good idea the night before the half: It's a Monte Cristo and it was DELICIOUS! I had a chocolate martini with it (which is, apparently, all I need to get tipsy these days). I only ate half and I paid for it for about two and a…

I adopted her through the Humane Society. A big plus was that she was already declawed (which was a requirement since I live in an apartment). She also will tap me or rest her paws on my knee when she wants attention. Also, she will wait in the bathroom next to the tub while I'm showering. And as soon as that water is off…

I want to thank everyone for their support. I actually didn't say anything to my parents, they actually ended up looking up the signs for anorexia online and my mom called me. :frowning: So now I send her photos of the food I'm eating (despite the fact that I eat the same things most weeks ((out of sheer convenience))) but…

So, my last few confessions have been pretty negative thoughts about my weight and food. And this week my mom pretty much kicked my butt out of my state of denial. I'm displaying way too many symptoms of anorexia to the point I just can't deny it. I am getting a lot of support from my family, and I am going to…

I just finished a serving for Talenti Coconut Chocolate Chip!
-
I only came up with that number because my HRM gave me 248 kcal and 228 kcal in the two 5ks I've worn it in. 100 calories a mile sounds way better though! Lol
-
I can usually burn around that running 5k.
-
They do still make them! I know at least a local restaurant chain, La Rosa's, usually has them in their restaurants. And thanks. I think my diary would look better if I were trying to lose weight, but I'm actually five pounds below my goal weight and underweight according to my BMI. I need to gain weight or at…

I haven't gotten to that page yet. :flushed: This thread moves fast!

I love mint and chocolate together as well, but I've been on a straight chocolate kick myself. I have been thinking about getting some in gelato form though.

Confession: I wish I lived with somesomeone who could help me plan meals better. My meals for the week don't even total 1100 calories. I always think it looks like a lot of food, until I see the numbers and they're really low.

Confession: I had one chocolate martini tonight. Half way through I was lightheaded. At the bottom of the glass I was pleasantly buzzed.

The base was a little icy, but the mix-ins I got were good. I figured since I'm shelling out $4-5 for a pint, I might as well give them a try. I didn't think the base was too icy, it was good enough for me and I didn't regret my purchase, at least!

That sounds delicious! I haven't had an oreo in AGES.
-
Confession: Tomorrow after my 5k my mom, sister, and I are eating at the Hard Rock Cafe. The calorie counts in the database are horrifying me. Seriously.
-
Confession: I would use a bit of coconut oil in cooking...if I could get the damn jar open. XD I've gotten it open once or twice, but now it's a lost cause. lol.

So, I went ice cream hunting today. I had little tastes of both and I'm very happy! If the Hazelnut Chocolate Chip had chips like the coconut one does, I might like it more. Graeter's is more of a local brand, but I figured I was shelling out of Talenti, might as well try them, too. The Hazelnut flavor is fairly subtle,…

I want to try the smores one too. And I asked about the nutritional info on the new frapp 'mini' on their facebook page, and they told me it's about 100 less calories than the tall, if that helps anyone.

That is a disappointment to me as well! I'd have some if I could eat two, but 400 cals isn't worth it to me. The new flavors do look tasty though!
