I decided to pick one thing a week. First I added a walk after dinner every night. Then, I quit swapped white with wheat (it was all the rage, I didn't know better!), and some where along the way added MFP in. I should get back to the basics of one habit a week. I'm almost done breastfeeding and am having a really hard…

You're asking if you should count calories on a calorie counting website... You have a lot to lose, so you can be a little losey goosey about it. However, over time your loss will slow down and might even stop. When I hit that point, that was when I quit eyeballing and using measuring cups, and started weighing to the…

The second trimester hungries are a thing, and you feel them in your soul. My last pregnancy I'm pretty sure that I ate nearly every hour on the hour for a few weeks. I did lots of raw veggies, fruits, and ate a whole bunch of dry honey nut cheerios. Like... should have bought stock.

They all burn the same. Don't fall into good foods or bad foods. Food is food, and a calorie is a calorie when it comes to weight.

What is 80/20?[/quote] 80% of foods are what most would identify as healthy - fruits, veggies, lean proteins, whole grains, etc. 20% are "fun". Ice cream, lol.

Its not so rigid and scheduled as IF can be. I usually eat after 12, but I don't tend to structure when I stop eating. Sometimes I'm hungry and eat sooner. It all boils down to how many calories for weight management. How you get there doesn't really matter.

Like you will hear from many - I eat what I want with in my calories. If I can't weigh (or am too lazy, which has been the case lately), I estimate the best I can. I try to move for at least 30 minutes 3x a week, but I really aim for 5. I have found success with waiting to eat anything until after 12pm because I tend to be…

What's your activity level set at? That may be why 10k steps didn't adjust anything... Also, for example, my activity level is set at lightly active. This morning, I did t25, and my fitbit app said in that time I burned 295 calories. My MFP sync only gave me like an extra 129 or something. That's because at that point, had…

I'm obese too, and have lost 70lbs. I eat ice cream like... 5+ nights a week. Some times "diet" ones like Skinny Cow and Halo top. Usually regular. Sometimes, gourmet from an ice cream shop.

Dump the eggs or half the eggs from the 2nd into the first tortilla?

Fiber One Coconut Almond come in at 140, and are like candy, So good!
-
Luna bars come in around 140 for a bar. I used to eat them often. I also like fiber one - most come in between 90 and 150. Brownies, granola, the works.

Grabbing an apple on the way out the door instead of hitting the drive thru.

My coworker and I tend to grab lunch at least once a week. Given that we have 30 minutes, it's usually something fast. She always says things like "who goes to Panda Express and gets steamed veggies?" Or laughs into her double cheese burger while I get an egg white delite. Girl, wait until you're pushing 32 (she just…

I got that one when I did Couch To 5k a few years back. Pretty sure what was bad for me was all the Jaegger and Chicken McNuggets I was consuming.

I didn't lose anything breastfeeding until I stopped counting it in my calories. Once I started eating what MFP told me to plus exercise calories, I did much better. Check your logging to make sure its on point, weighing to the gram, and you're not over estimating calories from exercise, breastfeeding, or both. If you're…

Feel free to add me. I lost 70, and then gained 15 back in pregnancy. Back on my quest for another 50!

1) the MFP exercise data base is known for being grossly inflated. The common advice around here is to only eat back half of the number given to you and re-evaluate in 4-6 weeks. 2) Does Strava sync with MFP? If that's the case, I bet you set your activity level as "sedentary" and you got that big jump because you're going…

Did you change your activity level on here? If you increased, that could be why.

I was 40lbs overweight when I got pregnant. I counted the whole time. After talking with my doctor, we agreed 15lbs would be an appropriate gain, and I hit 17. My calories were set at maintenance my whole pregnancy, I ate regular snacks/small meals, and I ate back exercise calories if I was hungry. I walked, did yoga, some…

I've been enjoying just a sandwich and fruit these days, actually...

How old is your little? Some research done in the last couple of years suggests that it takes over a year for us to completely recover from pregnancy and delivery. And I don't know how old you are, but recovering at 19 was way easier than it is this time at 31. My nugget is almost 10 months and I feel like I still look…

I missed the part about the clots. That's why I said maybe not the ER.

You should have as much of what you want that hits your calorie goals. I'm 9 months post partum, I eat all the things, and losing slow and steady.

I weigh daily, logged into Libra. Wednesday, I update my weight in MFP based off what Libra says my trend weight is.
