Well I have been consuming between 1200-1500 cal a day, and burn well over that during my every day lifestyle, not to mention the working out. I wear a heart rate monitor and track my cal burned. I'm doing the old 30 Day Shred that Jillian Michael's came out with in the late 2000's. Only takes about 25 minutes a day, and each level (there are 3) last for 10 days or however long it takes for your to feel ready for the next.

Atkins has a plan for reintroducing Carbs to your diet.. I would recommend checking out their "pyramid" for how that works.
