Hi guys. I went to my first party of the season for our vegan book club and thought I would bring a red lentil chili I quite like from Chef AJ. It went over like a lead balloon. These ladies while vegan eat a ton of processed food so I think the lack of oil, sugar and salt wasn't appreciated. I've eaten this way so long I…

Get well soon @Mihani

For me blowing it would be vegan ice cream, chips, vegan chocolate and going out to a vegan restaurant as most everything there is full of fat. Well time for bed although I don't know why I bother. I've been up the last few nights..just can't sleep. Not sure if it's an age thing or too much on my mind. Sweet dreams…

Hi everyone. I've got a lot of kale in my garden so will have to find the kale and cabbage recipe. Sounds delish as does those mushrooms. I've been doing better at exercise and getting back to logging finally. Had some blood work done and that was the final straw to start tracking. I started the premium trial to see what…

Austin that sounds so yummy.

Indulged this weekend in vegan junk food. It was my birthday and we went out a lot. Today is day 2 on Fuhrmans 10 in 20 and so far so good. I'm logging my meals for the entire day the day before so I stick to it. So far so good.

I left a full-time job of 30 years a few years back. Was tired of the 80 hour weeks, weekends and no vacations. I took some time off for myself to get well again. I just never went back. Now I wonder how I ever managed In that environment. I didn't expect to retire. I hope you find a balance and what works for you. Life is…

@AustinRuadhain great idea about logging what you can. I've been doing that the past few days and everyday I get a bit better. Although last night I wasn't sure how to log a plant based meal at a local vegan cafe so I didn't. I think when I used to log it before I would deconstruct what I thought was in it and log that.…

Mihani I like to do the group classes at our YMCA. I usually go to Zumba, aquafit, yoga and gentle strength. I also see a trainer at her house once a week. My husband and I like to walk too although I've slacked on that due to the foot. I'll have to get him to push me harder to go.

Austin.....I'm struggling getting back into tracking. Did it for so long and was second nature and now it's a struggle. But it's a new day so I will start again this morning. I fell again last week so had to skip the gym for the week I was so sore and bruised and that put my motivation in the toilet. But I'm better and…

Hi everyone. I'm new here. Fellow Canadian. I've been following Fuhrman for the past several months. I've been eating WFPB for several years and heard about GBOMBS so looked into him further. I have his cookbook and am following his 10 in 20 plans. Some days I'm better than others. Found after I injured my ankle 7 months…

I follow a WFPB diet.

I love the Vega bars. No soy which is important to me.

Its my understanding that it takes 3500 calories to either gain or lose a pound. So keep burning more than you are eating and it will come off. Its simple math. I don't eat the extra calories that mfp adjusts because of exercise because I figure it's difficult to be accurate with counting calories and measuring what we…

Vegan. Feel free to add me.

That's awesome. How long have you been using mfp consistently.

Thanks everyone.

AntonioP23 I sent you a friend request.

I use vega for the most part but still don't feel like I'm getting enough. Maybe I need to make a larger smoothie.

I am mostly vegan. Have some dairy occasionally. Looking to lose 30 pounds and find some supportive like minded friends.

I joined MyFitnessPal on Dec 14. I'm 80 percent vegan and 20 percent vegetarian and that's because I find it hard to give up cheese and dairy in my coffee when I am away from home. I too was worried about getting enough protein so I ate a couple of eggs one day after not consuming them for years and boy did I feel sick…
