ANYTHING crunchy and salty. Kettle chips? I physically can't stop. So obviously no buying them for me! Erm... Cadbury's chocolate... cannot stop piling it in... so again I either buy a snack bar size, or nothing at all.

Body make-ups are insane... the highest I got (196lbs) meant I was an 18 (UK). Weird.

The routines (in my experience) often last about 8 weeks or so, so once you've picked up a new routine you get better at it, and then you CRUSH it. It's great fun.

Kettle Chips, Mini Cheddars, Rich Tea or Custard Cream biscuits, punnets of grapes, punnets of cherries, family-size chocolate bars, peanuts/mixed nuts, doughnuts... if any of these are in front of me, no matter how large the qty (multipacks etc.), I will eat them all, through feeling full, right through to feeling sick.…

I like "eat the frog first." It means doing the thing you don't like first to get it done and out the way... you can interpret that as you like, whether it's exercise or logging your food, or weighing yourself.

I don't think it's cruel, in general - I was never bothered by junk food as a kid (in fact I could never understand how people got "addicted" to soda, Coca Cola was a birthdays/Christmas-only treat in our house). Teaching balance and nutrition to your children isn't the same as making your kids eat only raw vegetables…
