does this mean that cyclists will start heeding stop signs and stop lights? Use turn signals? Stop riding on the sidewalk? Stop passing cars that are stopped in traffic? If cyclists want full right of way and lane usage then they should start following all the rules of the road or they should stop riding their bicycles. It…

I don't have cheat days anymore. I was letting go a little too much and undoing all my weeks work. I still log everything but go for eating at maintenance on the weekends so I can splurge on some things I really love like Dairy Queen Blizzards and Smoked Salmon dip. YUM

I actually found that doing half squats or to parallel puts WAAAAAY more stress on my knees. I also have lyme arthritis in my knees and hips and I found that stopping myself part way through my natural range of motion is puts more strain on my joints than following all the way through to ATG. That is my mobility though. I…

I love my soda stream just for this reason! I was never a big soda drinker unless I go out to eat. I have completely eliminated soda by drinking sparkling water. I got the soda stream because in the long run its a lot cheaper than buying cans of LaCroix...that stuff is redonk expensive!!!! Take note that you definitely…

love it love it love it. Gets me up and moving a lot more than I used to. I had no idea just how sedentary I was, even with going to the gym daily. I get lot of satisfaction from going over all my goals for the day.

your workout will get added to the fitbit site when you log it here.

When I synced to my fitbit it said explicitly to log all additional exercise on MFP. It won't work if you log it on the fitbit website.

have you tried the google machine?

You were right with the 1st one sort of. I would just use the tools on this site and it will tell you how much to eat by calculating your BMR, how much weight you want to lose a week ( I recommend no more than 1 lbs) and then log your exercise or link your activity tracker like a fit bit. MFP will tell you how much to eat.

You might want to try looking up different grip styles. Could be your grip is a little off but grip strength definitely improves as you lift.

I get that. It was just irking me that people were seeming to minimizing his financial struggle. Its a personal topic to me so I get a little testy about it.

no, its not jeans or underwear. Its just how your body is built. I wear huge ol' granny panties and I have never been able to wear low rise and I still have all kinds of mad hip dip going on. In fact the heavier I am the more prominent it becomes.

I am also a big proponent of goblet squats and then front squats when you are ready to move to a bar. I find having the weight in front of me helps me stay more upright. That can vary and find what is more comfortable for you. I also squat very deep so my butt touches my ankles. I actually found this way takes pressure of…

Oh and also, you mentioned that you are getting in on some Miralax action. Not to be gross but that can seriously stall your weight loss. Hard to lose weight when your body won't let you poop on a regular schedule. All that waste is just sitting around taking up valuable real estate.

So many people saying that he has to get a food scale and that they are not that expensive. I think a lot of you have never been that broke. Like you have to choose between paying your electric bill or phone bill kind of broke. Sometimes 20 bucks is all you have to get you to your next paycheck and that includes gas and…

I don't log it weight training either. Its like just a couple hundred calories so I use it as a buffer for calorie inaccuracies in my food log.
