and I meant Vionic shoes....not zionic LOL
-
I don't know if anyone recommended them yet but Zionic brand shoes are wonderful! They have orthopedic soles and have everything from flip flops to boots. I started wearing them and my foot pain was greatly reduced.

Just some local hobos...not really a big deal.

I would say steady as you go. Keep doing what you are doing and maybe keep a seamstress in the wings if you need to have it let out just a touch right before. Alterations have to happen all the time and there is normally a solid inch or two of fabric in the seams that they can let out. Take your dress to an alterations…

I just couldn't tell why you were clarifying that point. That's all. Edited to add Nevermind. I see it now. dork alert here

Are you talking about a Bodypump type class? I quickly got bored with that too and didn't get the results I wanted. I switched back to my old fav free weights and was much happier. Similar moves but with good heavy weights and lower reps.

Thank you for this. I can't imagine why people are getting to up in arms about a woman using a public service when she thought she might be in danger. There were times where I was out running and if I had my phone, I would have called 911 because I got freaked out. There are a LOT of weirdoes out there.
-
Huh? I assume you are talking about yourself?
-
single leg deadlifts. You can do them with just some phone books in your hands or gallon jugs of water. Don't need much weight since you have to balance on one leg.

fair enough....it must be a cultural thing then. Because I don't understand the situation at all. If you want a scale just go buy one.

Its the same on most sites that I have found. Its not really tough love or being a hardass, at least in my opinion. I think its a lack of sugarcoating and treating adults like they are precious delicate little lambs incapable of hearing the truth about things. Some people might be a little more harsh than others but people…

While its good to be courteous to them if you are living at home you are still an adult. Its very weird that you are behaving like a grounded high school student instead of an adult. Unless you are utterly dependent on them and you are not employable for some reason. Even then its still weird. Respect is one thing but this…

That is what I am thinking. She might not work because she is in treatment and probably should NOT weigh herself which is maybe why her family doesn't want to get one.

I am not sure what slimming clubs are but if you count your calories you should be able to lose weight without all the gimmicks.

from the sounds of it the OP isn't required to see a therapist or a nutritionist, which is why there is concern

Meh, I got my first pair of boots ever at the age of 34 and only because they were mukaluks so they were just stretchy sweater material on top. Not being able to wear boots isn't that big of a deal.
-
My only advice would hit up Macys just before spring. They have HUGE boot sales so you can try a bunch on. Even "wide calf" boots don't fit me most of the time so I have to try all the biggest looking ones to find ones that fit. I have the dreaded cankle where boots, even most wide calf ones, don't zip up more than an…

right?!?!?! I got waffles on the brain now.

I don't eat breakfast either otherwise I find that I am starving all day and I am not hungry until 11am or so anyway. You make up for it by having Brinner. I don't know why people think breakfast foods are confined to the morning. Silly!!!!

Fitbit and MFP don't care what you manually set it too. it has its own set of algorithms. Why don't you just set it for 1 or .5 lbs loss and follow what MFP says. Works pretty well for me.
-
Adjustment your deficit then. I used to have my loss set at 2 lbs a week and it was restricting my calories waaaaay too much. I have it now for .5 and I can eat enough where I am not starving all the time.
-
in the last few months the way MFP tracked the fitbit adjustment changed. They take into account current burn and expected burn. The outcome was that calorie adjustments went down A LOT. I think they did this because before the calorie adjustment given by fitbit was too high.

I like coconut oil for stir fry. It has a nice flavor and you can really crank the heat without burning the oil which is nice. I like to really hot pan for stir fry and regular oil tends to burn.

My tummy always pokes out. Its not bloat or anything just my innards pushing my belly out. I learned to just suck it in from a very young age.
-
However you want to break them up. I eat about 1800 cals a day. I have a tiny breakfast and a tiny lunch about 200 each or so and then have a nice big dinner because me and my fiancé love to cook big dinners or go out to eat so I save em up! Plus I noticed if I a larger breakfast it just makes me that much more hungry all…

People already said ignore them. If you are in a deficit than that is good enough. That person doesn't know what they are talking about. Its about CICO not how many carbs you eat.

If you are extremely new, I would highly recommend following a structured program until you are comfortable lifting. Forget this "girls" routine stuff. New Rules for Weightlifting and Strong lifts 5x5s are good starter routines. Once you get more comfortable you can branch out and add things in. Also visit stumptuous.com,…

Yes!!!!!! I see it all the time!

cut the sleeves off some old t-shirts and use them as an extra wide headband. I did this when I worked in a shop and my hair wasn't long enough to tie it back and normal headbands just pop off my head or dig into my scalp because I have a giant head.

that guys definitely was driving like a dink. I am never in such a hurry I can't wait for another 75 ft to pass a cycle on the road.
