I love the Maia bra from moving comforts. I’m a long time DD cup, and this is the only bra that keeps me from knocking myself out. I order from the Brooks website.

I think this is where you really need to experiment with your diet. The sweet spot is different for everyone. What are your goals? Weight loss? Good health? Etc... that will determine your sweet spot. Same with the 80/20 rule. Some people can play with that 20% like it's nothing. 20% of each meal and they are ok. Others…

Think you mean insight. So what if you fail? That's part of the Whole30. If you fail you examine why it happened and start over. Go back to day 1. Whole30 is not about being perfect.

Quest bars are awesome but in the beginning they can be a crutch. Definitely a better bad choice, lower carb and junk than most other bars. But they are a sometimes food, like being one or 2 to your deserted island, along with lots of meats, fats, and green veggies.

"I live traditional Paleo with the exception of occasionally salting my food and I enjoy sweet potatoes. " Maybe I'm confused but neither of these things are not paleo. Paleo believes in the use of pink Himalayan salt and sweet potatoes are highly nutritious.

Well said! Whole30 is super strict, no added ingredients, whole foods, etc. It makes people realize that sometimes the reason they love a certain food is because of what is added to it (cream/sugar to coffee for example). You can do a strict 30 day protocol of whatever you choose, or do it the way it's written in the book.…

I'm thinking it's 60 fat/20 protein/20 carbs
-
It's only giving you 61 calories for exercise because that's what it figures is going to be over and above your regular burn. It doesn't want you to eat back too many calories and it calculates that you regular burn increased by 126, so the 61 calories are the bonus ones

Paleo is all about listening to your body and doing what is best for you. Keep it up! I'm curious though as to which paleo/primal suggestions you find to difficult to follow?

Could you be hungry because you are not eating enough at meals? Either not enough volume of foods, or not enough fat? Or drinking enough water? When i eat a lovely breakfast full of fat (eggs (3-4) with mayo or bacon, or bulletproof coffee!) I'm often still full at lunch and am not hungry until supper.
-
112g of fat is easily possible if you follow a ketogenic diet. Bulletproof coffee for breakfast has 20g of fat, and more fat if you eat eggs and bacon with it. Lunch salad with meat, avocado and cheese and maybe a side of nuts for more fat. And for dinner more meat cooked in butter or oil with veggies in butter or mayo…

Yes sorry, I meant 200mcg, I was on my phone. I think the inclination to eat less junk is psychological. The supplements are supposed to help make me healthier, so my brain doesn't crave junk food. The vitamin B was recommended to me by a doctor to help curb PMS issues. I take a B complex because I can't remember which…

I supplement with K2 (20cg daily) and have for the past year or so. I also take Vit D (5000mcg), calcium (500mg) and a B 100 complex. I can't say I've noticed a change, although it does affect my eating in that when I take my supps I am less inclined to eat junk.

@keemra ketosis is carbs less than 50 GRAMS usually not 30-80%. I hope that was a typo!
-
Ketostix should measure ketones like pregnancy tests measure pregnancy: either you are or you aren't. If you are in ketosis, it doesn't matter if you are light pink or deep purple - you are producing ketones.

Well fed and well fed 2 by Melissa Joulwan. NomNomPaleo food for Humans by Michelle Tam. The 3 books I use the most. Other than that I like The Paleo Kitchen by Julie Bauer and civilized caveman ( I forgot his name) and paleo takes 5 by ???
-
I'm confused. Why are you saying squats are unladylike?
-
Well fed and well fed 2 are written by Melissa Joulwan. It starts with Food and whole30 are written by Melissa Hartwig.
-
I guess I should add neither Bookk is low carb, but both are paleo and it depends on your level of carb. They are definitely lowcarb compared to the standard American diet.
-
NomnomPaleo's food for humans is awesome! She also has an iPad app. Well fed and well fed 2 by Melissa Joulwan are also excellent

where have you looked? Natural food stores usually have coconut oil, GNC sells MCT oil, and the ethnic section of the grocery store should have coconut oil too. HWC is not what BPC is intended for, so it depends on why you are making BPC. If you are following The Bulletproof DIet, then you absolutely need grassfed butter…

Any carbs your body needs it can make from the protein you consume. Fat is a more efficient form of energy for the body, once keto-adapted. I do eat veggies, because they make my tummy feel good. But they are not necessary for weight loss or health, if you go zero-carb or meativore. The Innu in the North have done it for…

When I have a slow loss (or no loss) I always look at my food diary. Am I weighing and measuring? am I trying to use too many fake foods or legal treats, which are total unneccessary? Then I look at my calendar. Where am I in my cycle? One week before my period I stop losing. Sometimes I manage to maintain, others I gain.…

And also with the warning that you can't make french fries with them, or use butter in your mashed potatoes (ghee is ok). I personally find them terribly bland after discovering sweet potatoes and then further discovering all the wonderful veggies that awaited (roasted broccoli is the bomb!). Hubby doesn't miss them…

Potatoes are allowed on Whole30 both sweet and white.

Sugar free gum gave me terrible gas pains when I used to chew it. All sugar alcohols (fake sweeteners) do a number on my gut. Not worth it to me. As for what is allowed or OK for the rest of your diet, what plan are you following? you say low carb, but what is your carb level? Low carb can be anything from 0 to 150g. Are…

I'm up for June 1st if that's the direction we go. My CSA veggies will be starting right around then too!
