My whole family (including two kids ages 6 and 8) love my 'rice bowls' it's basically a salad with some rice on it and fish on top. Add what ever dressing you like!

There's a few other posts in this area about it and most (including me today) log this as circuit training.

Just the post I needed - started the 30D Shred this morning <3

Definitely do it! I was the fittest I ever was when I was a player! Due to injury 3 years ago I went from playing to now reffing. I forgot to stop eating like an athlete and packed on the pounds - ha! You will LOVE roller derby! Such a great supportive community and you don't what so ever feel like you are working out when…

Hello! *waves* I'm new to my Fitbit, and coming back to mfp after injury and letting myself slip into unhealthy habits. Always looking for new ways to motivate myself and find support along the way

I'm 36, weighed in this morning at 142, and am 5'4". This is right where my body likes to settle and I like it to be a bit lower. 2.5 years ago I got myself down to 125 and really truly loved being that weight, but I was doing insanity, playing roller derby, running and really watching everything I ate to get there. The…

Is that a group on mvp?

This made me giggle

That's a lot of protein! I'm always looking for more protein sources. I'll have to look for these

This is my theory of not tracking on the weekends and eating a bit lower during the week. I guess at this point I should start being more accountable. This follows more the WW method, which I used to follow - the 'bonus' points that you could eat a bit each day, or save for a splurge day... So with that if I do 1400x7=9800…

The hungry days are rare. I thankfully have never been much of a binger. When I say I 'could' eat everything in sight, I should have clarified that I don't. And when I do have the hungry days, I thankfully choose more healthy options over chips etc. I don't have a sweet tooth so don't eat candy or chocolate (may have a…

I should have clarified a bit more, if I'm hungry, I will eat. I'm not one to deprive myself. My concern more so is should I eat if I'm not hungry to hit the 1200 minimum.

I'm up in Canada, I skated for the Anarchy Angels  I still ref! Being an official kicks *kitten*, doesn't it

This is great. I just checked out nerdfitness.com and found this: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2009/12/09/beginner-body-weight-workout-burn-fat-build-muscle/ I'm definitely going to give this one a go!

ha, going to bed at 2am would be my choice of bedtime, but getting up at 5:45am would not by my choice of wake up time. I aim to be asleep by 10:00 each night...

when I was at my ideal weight I would do this too. It really gave me a good sense of where and when my fluctuations were.

So much info out there, thanks guys! My biggest hurdle right now is that I'm recovering from a shoulder injury that took me out of roller derby. I was playing on a competitive team, trained 3x per week so could pretty much eat what I wanted as the calorie burn each week was huge... so now I'm left to my own motivation to…

I too would love if anyone has some suggestions for at home with dumbbells. Thanks!

Can we talk snacks for work? Does anyone have a healthy muffin or bar recipe?

I'm a vegetarian so this is always a challenge for me. I buy the little tins of flavored tuna for a good amount of my protein intake... veggie ground protein shakes beans

I'm a splenda gal. I put coconut milk and splenda in my coffee. Try switching to a flavored coffee - vanilla or the such, and if you like it creamy, try coconut milk. I drink that because I don't consume any dairy at all. It's very low in calories and tastes great :) Not as intense of a flavor like soy or almond milk.

I'm on a real omlette craze lately too! I make mine with egg whites though, put what ever veggies I feel like for the day with salsa on top.
-
Feel free to add me! I won't give up my drink! I am moderating it more now though! :)

Fellow yo-yo'er here! I find the sustainable longer term success that works for me is when I allow myself a day to have all those treats that I have been denying myself all week. I normally choose a Friday or Saturday for this. I also don't track that day. Or if I do track, I don't beat myself up for going WAAAAY over my…
