I'm schizophrenic. Diet doesn't affect that at all. I also suffer from anxiety and depression, which gets WAY better when I am eating healthier and not overeating, and exercising. :) So some mental illnesses are 100% how the brain is wired, and anxiety and depression can very much be affected or brought on by what and how…

You go girl! Add me if you want :)

What do you mean by that? You can only lose weight on those macros by starving yourself? That doesn't make sense
-
Genuinely curious, why does eating high fat make it okay to not exercise? I thought exercise was good for your body no matter what diet you're on. :confounded:
-
wow you don't look 48 keep it up!

Okay thanks guys :) good insights

Fun fact

I'm very young but that's a good post :) I'll remember when I get older

Can you let us know what happens? I'm curious. Really hope it all gets sorted out so everybody is okay with it and Kayla is happy :)

If you don't feel like it, just commit to 10 minutes. You might want to continue when you get in the zone. And also think about how good you feel after and how proud of yourself you will be. And you can eat more calories when you're active. :)

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! I have officially decided I will go for it and subscribe when TurboFire is complete. :) Oh boy

Does anybody have experience just doing Kickboxing for workouts and not also lifting weights? I actually hate lifting weights and I'm hoping Kickboxing and cycling alone which I love will bring toned results too. I don't want to be skinny fat
-
Oh cool that you bring that up because I called the Undisputed gym of pretty much all things fighting and stuff similar to it and they have a free first class and it's $65/month to have access to Kickboxing classes and some other fighting type classes and all the bags and they give you gloves too :) I think I will do that…

That is so exciting!!!:) are the moves anything like TurboFire or fitnessblender Kickboxing?? I have so much fun with the punches and kicks in those and I think I would love a class setting... :)
-
That sounds great!!! I used to do Tae Kwon Do and I loved sparring :) kickboxing isn't really for actual fighting though, so there isn't any sparring or anything. :(

I loooove Halo Top!!!! <3 It's only between 240 and 380 calories for a whole pint and I LOVE ice cream so I only eat Halo Top for my ice cream now. :) I have lost weight successfully having several pints a week. Tonight I am having a pint of the chocolate one in a bowl with a serving of Hershey's Lite chocolate syrup.…

I'm not blessed with a large chest but I just want to say that the zip up ones are adorable and I love how they look lol :) And I don't know if this would apply for larger chests, but I just bought a couple of under armour mid impact sports bras and I'm usually a size medium but they compress well and I really like them.…

Yoga can be very difficult and very good for strengthening muscles/"toning" if you are at the point to see your muscles. People here are very set on heavy weight training and that is fine, but if that isn't what you want to do then yoga can be very beneficial to your body and your mind..:)

Right? Some days (especially around that time of month) I am absolutely ravenous and can't get enough chocolate :o Try to fit it in your daily calories but if you need to go over calories a little so you don't restrict and end up binging then that's what I would do. :) sometimes a girl just needs her chocolate and two…

If high fat low carb works for you then that's great!! I wouldn't call it an addiction though I think everyone and their mother would eat yummy carbs all day if they could! XD Congrats and good luck on your journey! :) :) :) Mae

Hey I live in Tucson too!!:) I haven't been cycling because of the heat.... when I feel like running I go run on the apartment fitness center treadmill and if I wanna cycle I go early in the am. But it is just too darn hot for anything during the day lol

Hey there! Sorry I don't have an answer to your question...just want to say hello from a fellow myfitnesspal equestrian! I don't do much extra... just ride a couple times a week, a little yoga and cycling here and there... I've found that and the occasional run is fine for me. But good luck finding a good program!!:) Fwiw…

Honestly, I tried to be one of the cool weight lifting kids for a while, bout a year ago. Don't get me wrong! No regrets here! :) It was exciting when I conquered my fear of the weight room and started learning how to do the exercises, BUT over time and as my weight started going up and it became more challenging, I really…

Okay, I read and re-read everything and it's really starting to make sense to me now. :D THANK YOU so much for going into such great detail for me! I wish I could pay you all! I'm going to revisit this thread a bunch as I get used to this and I figure out what numbers work best for me. I was never into long distance…

WOW I did not expect this many replies!!! <3_<3 Thank you everybody for sharing your experiences and advice. A bit of sorta-conflicting? advice though, it seems. Or maybe I'm just a little slow. :) I'm just still a tad unsure how much to eat back... @jjpptt2 You say "eating with no exercise will yeild the same results as…

I do a lot of walking as well, so I set my goals to sedentary, lose 0.5 lb weekly, let the iPhone count my action, and eat back all my calories it gives me (or close to it) plus at least half of what I earn from my actual workout. :) If you carry your phone while you run or workout though, I wouldn't eat much of the steps…

^ I think this too.
