I'm from NJ! Wouldn't have it any other way

Totally understand! A few years ago I would have eating competitions with myself. MYSELF. And I would go through gummy bears like it's no one's business. I honestly don't even buy them anymore! When I do, I eat a serving and give the rest to my brother and sister

I definitely agree with the protein statement! Protein is the main thing that keeps you fill since it's harder to digest. My go to snack is usually a handful of almonds!

I cannot eat mushy fruits! Like if a banana is slightly overripe, I can't eat it. I like it when my fruits are firm. Also, cooked carrots. Blegh!

I was once a total victim to this, so I looked at one of the books I had (The 17 day diet) and this is all true! Thanks for summarizing it :D

@jpaulie i totally agree with the snapea crisps! Delicious :D I'm usually all for sweet things, so my go to sweet thing is two mandarins for 70 calories. They're so good and sweet AND I get two! :)

Amazing! Congrats OP, hopefully we'll all reach our goals this year

loll the research article argument was pretty intense to read, but back to the point. OP, I'm trying avoid refined sugars because sugary foods are a trigger for me. once I have one cookie, I'm really tempted eat whole stack! do whatever works you. It just so happens that I can't have sugar in moderation just yet.

I've always wanted to try it, but I've been kinda scared to! I'm in, hopefully this will end well :)

Where I'm from, we have a breakfast food called "fateer". It's amazing, but way way way too greasy. As it turns out, fateer is the equivalent of baked puff pastry in the US. *gag*

I'm more focused on my eating habits, but I hope I'll incorporate some kind of exercise along the way! Feel free to add me!
