@jolive7 Yeah, that's probably what I'll try to do. Just gotta face it!

I always loved the YMCA.

Thanks y'all :) I think I'm avoiding it because I don't want to call attention to myself. Ridiculous, I know, but there it is. Maybe tomorrow morning. @quiksylver296 I've heard, "if it doesn't scare you it isn't heavy enough." @TresaAswegan Squats are just as much mental for me as they are physical. Your plan sounds good,…

I've been successful without a program, but I imagine I'd be more successful if I followed a program.

Who knows why people say what they do? I could guess, but I'd probably be wrong. You're probably wrong to think it means you're fat. The guess of the person above me is probably wrong. There's just too much that could be going into what your personal trainer said for any of us to know why he said it. So here's the advice I…

Serving sizes vary based on packaging too. Chobani plain greek yogurt in the single-serving container is 150 grams. In the larger container, a serving size is listed, like you said, at 225 grams.

I like to watch some shows about weight loss, but I dunno about the premise of this one. I've heard of it but haven't watched it.

Just want to add that while plenty of people seem to be able to trust their appetites and eat the appropriate number of calories based on how they feel, there are also plenty of people who cannot. Appetite is not necessarily a good indicator of caloric needs. I've had days where I feel stuffed when I clearly haven't eaten…

Hanson. The band's name is Hanson. I'd also like to point out that unlike boy bands, such as 'N Sync and The Backstreet Boys, Hanson played their own instruments. - A true Hanson fan :p

I still use Nike Running because I've been using it, but I just wanted to agree with you.. I really dislike it now!

I still struggle with this in ways, but one of the things that's helped me feel better about my body has been lifting. It's hard not to respect my body when I see what it can do. Don't get me wrong, I love the aesthetic aspect too, but it's become more about what my body can do than how it looks - and the eating to fuel…

So I just went about four days without washing it after reading this article.. https://www.fitnessblender.com/articles/natural-easy-lazy-girl-hair-care-how-to-get-healthy-hair-naturally I rinsed in between washes - and it was time to wash it when I did - but it didn't smell or look dirty, probably partly because I kept it…

This probably isn't the answer you want to hear, but after logging successfully for about a year I've gotten a lot better at recognizing when my feelings are pushing me to eat. I've just started to come off a rough couple months where I let myself give in, and just tonight, for example, I felt like overeating but realized…

I always wanted to avoid a large age gap because I was never interested in younger men and because, morbid or not, I wanted to avoid substantially increasing the chances of me being a young widow. Maybe that's weird, but women do generally live longer than men. My husband is five years older than me, and that's more than…

I use instagram to spew all my fitness-related excitement. My husband and I work out together, so I obviously share it with him too. Otherwise I don't talk much about it other than to tell people I lift and work out if it comes up.. no real details though.

I really want to offer advice, but I'm hesitant to say anything since I don't know what kind of unhealthy behaviors you're struggling with.. I guess the least I can say is that I just spent like two and a half months struggling with some of my old disordered eating. After a year of doing so well I never expected to go so…

I used to have a flat scale until it gave out. Now I use this one.. http://myweigh.com/product/kd8000 It takes up more room than the flat ones, but I really like it. I've yet to put a dish on it that covers the display.

It doesn't matter when you eat. Maybe you could try eating smaller meals in the daytime so that when nighttime rolls around you have more calories to work with. I tend to do that and have had success.

Cottage cheese!

When the announcer on the hubby's FIFA game said something like, "You think it'd be easy to pass the ball to the guys wearing the same color shirts as you." I didn't know the announcers on video games talked s**t like that..

Well, if I were just looking to loosen up, like you mentioned, I'd just drink liquor straight. If I were looking for something to hit the spot and that thing were beer, like you also mentioned, I'd just figure out how to fit it into my daily calories.

What really helped me when I finally started doing it the right way (without restricting too much) was realizing that if it's truly a lifestyle change, there are going to be slip-ups. It's inevitable. No one can be perfect all the time. Once I realized that, it got easier to move on from my missteps instead of seeing them…

You can create your own food. You just have to enter all the information manually. I think the button is at the bottom of the list when you search.

I was waiting for the bus, and this guy said to me, "I like your phone..... can I get the number?"

I don't know exactly what results you're looking for, but if you're trying to change your body shape, food will be the key. Exercise is amazing and helps, but it generally isn't enough on its own. I like to look at exercise as a way to get fitter and stronger and as something that makes me feel really good, and I see food…

I feel like this Chit Chat forum is morphing into the Fun & Games forum with all the "poster above you" threads. :/ :#

I don't think it's so simple. Loving someone might be easy, but living with someone and creating and maintaining a successful relationship isn't automatic just because real love is there. Loving someone doesn't mean you don't have to work for it and at it.
