Oh I see, now I've seen GP's and specialists and no one has told me that it's not JUST testosterone that messes it up. The only advice they really ever gave me was lose weight :\ (and that was the specialists)

I don't know how out of whack my hormones are, the doctors were incredibly vague and initially I wasn't even certain they'd actually diagnosed me, If I recall right (although it's been along time) one dr said that my testosterone wasn't overly high/fairly normal levels or something around that, I could be wrong on that…

I was never offered that, metformin was the first thing they wanted to try, I'm only trying to get rid of the hair (no other noticeable symptoms) so they have referred me back to my gp since I'm having laser removal and the metform did nothing, so I've no idea if there is any medication option for me. Problem is laser…

That seems like a really good idea, I wish I could have that control, If I make it fit into my calories I feel ok but more often than not it creeps up once I've had my calories and then I end up eating too much, if I could work it in that would be better, but I don't actively want to be eating portions of chocolate or…

trader joes=. aldi/ lidl. sams club = costco/ makro. nearest uk equivalents. majority of my healthy food(90%) comes from lidl and the co-op. [/quote] Thank you :)

Oh I saw something similar to these earlier, fantastic idea but do you need to use silicone cases? Because I only have the paper cases (or muffin tins, I just saw she used a tin, but that's if I can get them out of the tin as it's not non-stick) I don't live near a trader joes or sams club unfortunately, I don't know what…

I love the idea of premeasured servings, that sounds like a really good idea, if everything was portioned up right I'd probably find things easier. It's deciding what to make that is my biggest problem, I don't know so I end up snacking when I get too hungry Thank you :)

Oh yes I eat eggs and cheese couldn't live without them :) Thank you for the link to high protein fruits, I'm more of a fruit fan (Terrible sweet tooth)

I have the same goal (keeping curves I mean), I'm not going under 130lbs but I'm focusing more on where I feel my best, 130lbs is just a target so I don't lose track but I'm focusing more on measurements. I only have 6-7" difference between waist and hips/bust so I'm hoping weight loss will emphasize it, I have pretty nice…

Thanks :) I've actually had an exercise test recently, although I haven't had official results the nurses who performed it did say they didn't see any problems with it and didn't see why I shouldn't continue or that the doctor would think any differently. But I'm still avoiding doing anything that's too much

That's why I'm wary, I don't lift very heavy yet and until I can actually speak to them I have no intention of lifting heavier but I just don't know what to do while I wait for my next appointment. Maybe just body weight for now and light weights

Just make my current shape look nicer/butt bigger is what I want, if it's possible is another question. That make sense? I want to lose fat but I don't want to lose muscle.

I'm planning on asking my doctor when I go next, until them I'm sticking with 11kg max and some 2.5lb ankle weights. Since heavy weight is kind of a no go until I see the doctor, is there anything I can do to help shape my body (is it even possible to change your body shape through exercise?) I'm aiming for enhancing…

High reps low weight was their advice (Sorry I didn't remember that before)

I am confused I'm new to it. Maybe the first option is what I'm aiming for... I know way too little, what is progressive overload?
-
No, I was at a routine appointment and just asked if I could continue and the response was I shouldn't try to build and I shouldn't try anything competitive, I shouldn't lift anything like 70kgs and that I should aim to tone and lift 'girly' weights, didn't give me an idea of what weight that was though. I just want a…
-
I've no idea, they just said to tone and not build, but I don't know any other way of shaping my body I'd ask their opinion of what I could lift but I don't go again for another 6 months and I have no other way of contacting them, it also seems a bit of a waste of the doctors time
