My strategy is to eat as normal the next day, no punishing myself with fewer calories trying to make up for overindulging. Then I make sure to drink plenty of water & to take a moment to think about how & why I went off the rails in the 1st place. Basically I acknowledge that I'm human & move on. I have just gotten the Asics Gel Scram. Oddly enough, while I am well-padded everywhere else, I have skinny feet & need extra padding in my shoes. I've put ball of foot cushions in these & for now they feel great. I can get some mileage on them to hopefully reduce my weight & help with my foot pain.

Checking in with 215/1000 minutes for the month. My new walking shoes feel so awesome I might run out & buy a 2nd pair for when I walk these to pieces!

Yay, this is what I've been looking for! I love walking and am ready to start again after some knee trouble & general laziness this winter. I'm setting a goal of 1000 active minutes for March. I'm always looking for MFP friends so feel free to add me.
