Take my word, you're going to be miserable if you choose to do that! It's fine to incorporate smoothies into your everyday routine but don't make that your only source of nutrition. You'll feel just as great if you focus o a balanced diet or rather than diet let's say lifestyle change :)

I was pulling up my jeans and it took far too much jumping and stretching!! I jumped on the scale and I had gained almost 20lbs. I was blown away and that was my breaking point.

I don't use a food scale. Do you think that's something I should invest in? Also I'm willing to try duck, but I also eat lamb. Is that a calorie dense meat?

Thanks for your advice everyone! I don't eat "low fat" or "diet" anything I just try to add lots of greens and fruits to every meal. It makes me full and I have trouble reaching 1870cal. I can definitely add more oils, avacado, nut butters, and treats

There was never a problem meeting my calorie goal until I started eating healthy! When I eat junk all day there is no problem!

I've lost 1.4lbs in 12 days (at my last weigh in) and it's usually a good bit under my goal. In usually hitting around 1200-1400 while my goal is 1870. I have plenty of energy when I'm eating the right foods and I feel great! I most do dance based workouts.

It's obvious that OP is in somewhat of a hurry if she was willing to try living on nothing but smoothies! I understand that weight loss is not fast process, I was simply saying.

But if you're so in a hurry to lose weight, then it only makes sense to combine diet and exercise to get the best result. Far better than a month of nothing but smoothies!

I'm going to tell you guys a secret, but lets keep it between us. There's this magical liquid called sweat. If you can work hard enough to make it escape your body a few times a week (at least) then you don't have to worry about outlandish diets like a month long smoothie craze. ;)

My dad did the smoothie diet for 2 weeks, and lost about 14lbs. He was only allowed 1 ral meal a day and the rest was smoothie. Sure it sounded like a good idea but not only was h starving everyday, he gained that weight right back :/
