Lots of iced tea (unsweet), and veggies & dip!

Things will get better and you’ll be back to normal before you know it. Good luck!

I use beef strips sautéed with a splash of Worcestershire sauce and a splash of soy sauce, when the beef is about 75% cooked I add a bag of frozen stir fry veggies. Cover and cook on medium until the veggies are hot. I add a little bit more soy sauce about halfway through cooking. Serve with rice and enjoy!

When I switched to a plant-based diet (and occasionally eating fish), I didn't need to have my gallbladder removed. I've had acute pancreatitis & gallstones in the past, so I decided to make a big change in order to feel better, and to not die young. My doctor was so impressed and proud of me. Feels great knowing I'm…

As you continue to lose weight, your chin will get smaller. We all slim down in different places on our bodies when we drop the pounds. You'll get there!

Good luck! You've got a positive attitude and that's step one in your journey!

Hi there! I was also hospitalized for acute pancreatitis back in 2014 and it was the WORST pain in the world. My gastroenterologist recommended gallbladder removal surgery to prevent possible flare ups, but I decided to wait. Slowly I've been changing my lifestyle and eating habits. I try not to eat more than 30 grams of…

How about shrimp stir fry? You can have it over rice or without. That's one of my favorite meals to have.

Mine is open, but just to friends. You're welcome to add me if you'd like. We seem to have similar nutrition goals!

You could bake a batch of muffins, freeze them, then grab one before you head out in the morning.

Maybe you've got food sensitivities, or something not working right in your body. I had bad gas pains and bloating, and it turns out I had acute pancreatitis. Try several small meals throughout the day and give your doctor a visit. Good luck!

Thanks for this post! Helpful and a nice reminder of all the options out there with healthy food.

New York State or NYC? I'm from a small town upstate.

I'm a teacher, so I'm on my feet quite often. Now that it's summer, I like to lounge around and soak up the sun.

Do you like overnight oats? I mix together vanilla almond milk, old fashioned oats, a little peanut butter, a little maple syrup (for sweetness), and a sprinkle of chia/hemp seeds. In the morning you can grab it and go. Adding fruit is always good too.

How about eating lots of small meals throughout the day? I had acute pancreatitis in the past and my doctor suggested I have my gallbladder removed. Once I switched to a pescatarian diet (no meat except for fish), I felt a lot better and my flare-ups went away for the most part. Have you thought about limiting your meat…

I totally know what you're going through! Student teaching is extremely exhausting! It helps if you take small steps and set mini goals. For me, it started with drinking more water, avoiding the candy aisle at the store, and finding a short exercise video of YouTube (I love Walk Away The Pounds). Feel free to add me! I…

I'm interested! Like you, I'd like to lose 40 pounds but am focusing on five pound goal increments at the moment. Feel free to add me if you'd like. What do you struggle with? Night time snacking is a big problem for me!

Hello there! Like you, I've been using this app for a couple of years and just now realized there's a whole community & message boards! By the way, Oregon is beautiful and full of blackberries from what I remember. :)

I need some motivation because this journey seems to take forever! I'm 5'3" and ultimately would like to lose about 40-50 pounds.
