"I'm fine." "It's nothing." "Don't worry about it." :p "Guess what day it is?!" "We're going grocery shopping with my mom." (Gets my SO every time!)

Not worth my time.

You've lost 0lbs, with "230lbs to go", and you're lecturing people and giving advice? Is this a joke?

My favorite was that stupid neck slimmer or whatever it was. My mother used to do it all the time.

Exactly.

I have a hard time believing either of the two women you're looking at as role models (body-wise) as being anything other than fake. If you're not genetically born to have a voluptuous body (and I don't honestly believe either of those women haven't had work to aid any genetics they do have), without fat, you can't make it…

As someone with a 34DD chest size, I am looking more at where I should be health-wise than how my figure will look. I like my booty, so I work it out. The chest can't be helped - if you have a chest because you were overweight (fatty breasts), it's probably going to go, end of story. There's also a chance, if it's genetic,…

I'd rather have my coffee with actual sugar than some processed sweetener. I just work it into my diet; I'd rather take the calories. Works for me. :) But if you like Splenda, go for it!

Pretty agree with everyone else - 3lbs is very little to worry about with what your body has been through recently! Just keep trying and take a deep breath. Focus on the changes and not just on the scale. I actually had my mama hide my scale from me for the next month, so I could focus elsewhere. I often have fluctuations…

It's actually not too far off (from my beginning weight appearance), except it doesn't show the fat rolls I lost on my back. :p I would love to look like the model does at my goal weight.

Your best bet is lightly active. Do you walk to your car? Go to the grocery store? Walk up flights of stairs for work? Walk to the copier at the office? Walk into daycare to pick up your child? You say you go walking, and exercise as well. You're not sedentary.

I prelog my late night snacking (chocolate, salty chips, hummus, veggies) in the morning. I can usually tell by how my day is going to be if I'm going to snack or not. If I wait up until 12am for my SO to get home, I'm more likely to snack, since dinner is at 7pm. So I log a few snacks (Thin Mints, ten chips with a…

I'm eating slightly less (1584) and losing weight. I've lost 11lbs since January (with several small breaks - oops!). When I focus and eat that set amount, I lose an average of a pound a week. It's totally reasonable. Try it for a few weeks and lower it 100 calories if you see no loss. That being said, if you're not…

Subway, because I always feel terrible after I indulge in a cheeseburger. (That could have more to do with having worked at Mickey D's and knowing what is served there personally ..)
-
?! My average is 400-500 per meal.

You really need to deactivate your account and see a therapist and a doctor. We can't help you, and this site is only going to exacerbate your deeply rooted problems. Go get help; it's okay to ask for help. Talk to your mom.

My entire family thinks I'm a slow moving disappointment. It took me until age 23 to commit to college; I'm now applying for transfer to complete my bachelor's (est. graduation: June 2018) and will pursue my master's afterwards, though they are unaware. That makes me a bachelor's grad at 28 and a master's grad at 30. I've…

I too was a closet eater, because my grandmother was constantly nitpicking me on my weight, on my habits, on what I ate, how much, where, when (meanwhile, insisting I eat entire cans of microwaved hash and Dinty Moore stew for dinner - 2x/3x what I should have been consuming at age 12). Here I am, 50lbs overweight and I…

You are worth more than that. My future husband loved me just as much at 200lbs as he did when we met at 170lbs, and he'll love me at 140lbs. Why even bother dating someone who doesn't love you regardless? You'll live in constant fear of going over a certain weight because he might leave you. Screw that. Lose the weight,…

Ain't nobody got time for that. Tell him what's up and if he doesn't change his tune ..

Mine's open to friends; feel free to add! :) And sometimes, there really is nothing better than Dortios and donuts for breakfast. :p

Frankly, judging by your attitude towards her, you were definitely not the better choice.

Bingo.

I am so, so sorry. I can't even imagine what you must be going through and how much that betrayal must hurt. That being said, at least you now know. You're only 24 and you have your WHOLE life ahead of you! He's a filthy scumbag who deserves the worst kind of karma; and what kind of pathetic jerk needs to pay for sex…

Apples, grapes, rice cakes, nuts (cashews and almonds for me!) .. :)

You are likely consuming more calories than you think if you're not counting your calories or weighing your food. Why are you heavy? Because you lost track of how many calories you consumed, like many of us? Then not learning proper portions and counting calories will get you nowhere and you'll probably consume more…

If I weigh myself at the end of the day and then again in the morning, it's usually a 1-2lb difference. Water weight and such.

The only thing I've really cut is Nutella, because it's crack in a jar, and soda, because I can't and don't want to justify the waste of calories. The rest is fair game in moderation. :)

Same. :s
