Can't see your diary, but judging from what you said alone and your reference to "been doing well but I kind of got fed up", I'd say you might be limiting yourself too much. It's easy to burn yourself out if you're cutting all of the fun things out of your diet and keeping it really low calorie. Food is food, and there's…

I allow it once in a while - a nice night out, or a birthday. But I'm cutting it out otherwise. I, like you, make poor choices as a result of drinking. I snack, I binge, I lose track of what I eat so even if I work a few drinks in, I end up ruining it anyways. Not worth it and it's really been setting me back. Some people…

I seriously can't blame you. Who knows what else she would have come up with.

I would have deleted her so fast her head would have spun. :| Agreed!

When my fiance gets on board with my lifestyle changes and exercise routine, he averages a much faster loss than I, and he too is 50lbs overweight. He loses 15lbs for every 8-10lbs I lose on average. So I definitely feel he has it easier - but he also works very hard. I don't discount his effort, but I am very jealous,…

I always clear my list out of unhealthy tactics. Since it's my journey too, it's just preference. I look for friendships that are seeking healthy changes - more exercise, better eating, no drastic dieting. If someone is too extreme for me, I delete. Just preference.

I definitely do! :) It gives me something to look forward to. I got myself a new fitness top ("My sports bra works harder than you!") for losing 10lbs. After losing the next 15lbs, I will be getting a new pair of workout shoes. :) After the next, some new fitness wear and/or a new HRM. My last reward is definitely a new…

Pfffft I wish I could lose 2lbs a week. ;) You're doing fine. 0.4lbs is still a loss and a very good one at that. I only eat my exercise calories if I'm hungry and if I do, I only consume 50% of them at most. Keep up the good work (and like 3dogsrunning said, be wary of those quick add calories).

I agree with the first poster - if you're that desperate to lose 10lbs in 10 days, you should have started sooner. I'm assuming it's for an upcoming event or other personal reason. Weight loss takes time; I'm lucky and super excited to lose 2lbs in a week. It's possible to lose more than that, but 10lbs? You'll suffer, be…

Great job logging. :) My question is .. what's the problem? You're exercising, eating within your limits and losing weight. 0.4lbs is a great loss for one week! The average person is recommended to only lose .5-1lb a week. You're doing great!

Yay, still obese. Shocker. :p ;)

This. And don't be afraid that weight lifting will make you bulky - PLENTY of women on here can prove to you otherwise.

What worked for you at 156lbs may not work for your at 126lbs. Increase your calorie intake if all you're concerned is diet - work on your macros (Google has a plethora of resources) and test the waters. At worst, you'll gain a little. At best, you'll begin to lose again. The last 10-15lbs can be the hardest to lose, they…

I agree that 126 is on the higher end for your height; 20 isn't totally unreasonable. Try to integrate more weight training into your routine. If you're not energized enough, your body needs more fuel. Try upping your calories by 200 or so for a couple of weeks and see how it goes - make sure you're doing measurements too.
-
Then you need to focus on toning, not just weight loss.

My grandmother tried it recently and hated it. The food was terrible, she said. It'd be much cheaper (as a fellow college student! :) ) to get a Pinterest account and find some amazing, tasty, low/decent calorie recipes and budget a little. But if you can stomach the food (it never smelled very appetizing, haha), the only…

Anything advertising a NATURAL product should not be using SUCLAROSE (Splenda, anyone?) in their products as a primary sweetener - or using it at all! You're picking a fight with the wrong person - I've read all of the below articles thoroughly for a college paper. Enjoy a little reading. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Do a…

This is the most ignorant thing you've said to date. You say you're not criticizing her, but you're judging her ONE TIME consumption of chocolate pudding as unhealthy/a bad habit? I had a spoonful of Nutella this morning. It was within my calories and DELICIOUS. No regrets. Herbalife is thought to cause liver damage and…

It happens to me too, and it has nothing to do with how many layers I have. I figured it was circulation, myself.

I know some people have achieved this but you are going to need to be especially meticulous. It's recommended not to lose more than 2lbs a week (8lbs a month) but it's doable. You need to weigh your food meticulously with a scale (or measure, at the very least) and keep an eye on every bite. I personally just cut my…

I should add I do a lot of cardio involving walking, jogging and running, so I use a heart rate monitor to track my calories and only eat half back in case there is an overestimate, since my HRM can have a 12% overestimation.
-
I only eat my exercise calories if I'm hungry, honestly. :) And if I do, it's usually a protein shake with almond milk and I only eat half of what I burn, at most.
-
I'm not so sure you should be giving anyone advice with a lovely "0 lbs lost" boasted on your profile. I'd love to see your sources for these ridiculous claims.
-
Speak for yourself; I find England to be very exciting and enthusiasm-worthy. ;) Hahaha. I think wearing my HRM during such activities would be a mood killer. Edited to add: Now I'm going to spend all night craving .. but I'll never look at them the same way again. (Warning: Risque!)
-
No! Don't stop measuring! If you can't afford a scale (which you can find for $15-20 at Target), keep measuring. A scale is just more accurate, and some people are assuming you're not measuring because you're using cups, which isn't fair. Measuring with cups is better than not measuring at all. Keep measuring, your logging…

Why is your calorie allowance so high? 2,000 calories a day is maintenance for me. What are your settings/stats?

Way to go! You look awesome and what a deal. :)

I too have lost 10lbs in 2 months. :) Totally reasonable. Just keep on keepin' on!
