I used to get them from running indoors or on concert vs asphalt. I recommend getting dixie cups and putting water in them and freezing them. I just started recently pre-logging about 75% of my food the night before when I pack meals for work. I typically enter breakfast, lunch and snacks. I am in the same boat. I've always been athletic but my metabolism is definitely slowing down and I have to adjust my eating habits! Sweets are my killer. I feel cravings are the hardest thing for me to overcome. Anyone is free to add me =)

Thank you! This post is awesome. I am training to do my first half marathon. I've done a fair amount of 5k but the most I've probably run is around 4miles. I do tons of strength and conditioning work outs so this is super helpful for getting me started with my runs.
