Please dig a little and see if you can find skilled resources that might offer services to you that you can afford without insurance to help you through this -not just an app meant for calorie tracking. Your situation is a bit different, and there is likely no one here who has the proper knowledge to guide you. Your recent…

If you're used to eating like this, what you're craving is fuel. An appetite suppresant isn't going to teach you portion control. It's going to keep you from eating at all. As someone else said, not to sound lecture-y, but it doesn't sound like that's what you need.

Now that, I do - my water bottle has become my centerpiece accessory. I should look into fancier ones :)

This may make you feel better or worse, just wanted to add - I don't know anyone in their 30s and up who is in good shape and at a weight they are happy with who doesn't keep tabs on their intake and their fitness. They may not log and obsessively count, but "normal" for those who are in control of their weight does mean…

Ah, ok thank you for explaining that. I suppose I may not be since I do have a single cup of coffee when I wake - I just don't eat until 10 at the earliest.
-
So I had no idea I was doing this - I eat between 10am and 7pm. But I'm asleep from 11pm-6:30am. So is that IF or just a normal day? Breakfast - breaking your fast, btw (fun fact).

The pills you are taking won't do a thing - and you are probably not eating enough to fuel your body. Not touching the unhealthy relationship you obvs have with your Mom.
-
I never understood the clean plate club - that's teaching kids to eat past the point of being full just because you have likely overserved them.
-
Oh please - I've given up 500 of my 1200 for wine before, if someone wants to give up a couple hundred for a donut that's their business. :)
-
190 to be exact - there's not much to them, mostly air. I don't have a sweet tooth, so it still wouldn't be worth it to me but I could see where it would make someone's day. Enjoy!

When I was little, people still smoked in restaurants. My Nana was a smoker and a very thin person - the minute she had eaten what she wanted from her plate she would light up, and ash into her plate - so she wouldn't pick from it. Gross, I know - but it kept her from eating another bite :)

Mine is supportive by granting my wishes and not making a huge deal of it. It is important to me that this become a lifestyle for me instead of a "diet" so our family just accepts food choice and activity changes (which in and of itself is supportive, I know).

Oh, she has no interest in losing weight - it's presumably about how she's healthy and loving life being morbidly obese.
-
I didn't watch that, but I did see 10 minutes of My Big Fat Fabulous Life on TLC yesterday and was pretty bothered by it...seems someone is signing off on this person being healthful at a morbidly obese size because she has PCOS (which plenty of people do without the obesity)...it's a bit of a circus.

Being negative when the op was just pointing out they had found something fun to do - that's a bit of hate. No where in the post did he/she say that they had found the secret to anything...just something fun they had discovered.

I had to adjust my goal weight the opposite direction thanks to wrinkles -it turns out fat fills them in a bit and my face looks better with an extra 5lbs than it does with at my vanity goal # at my age now :)
-
Good for you for giving something you found fun to do a shot. Haters gonna hate - do what you enjoy if it will get you moving because that's better than nothing.
-
I guess I misread - I don't think you should deliberately be trying to lose, no.

With my first, I was 30 years old, got pregnant at 117 and delivered at 131. No sickness, no problems with the pregnancy, and delivered a 7lb 4oz healthy baby. That 117 dipped down several times in the first 2 months. As long as you're eating right watching out for morning sickness, etc you should be fine just let your…

"eats healthy for the most part" - is she weighing her solids and measuring her liquids to truly know the calories she is logging? Is she in a deficit? A beer every now and then won't matter as long as it is included in her planned-for calorie intake. Is she aware of her intake/deficit? Her activity level is fantastic -…

Engadget reviewed it and the calorie function was the first con mentioned. The tech is just not there yet.

Apple Cider Vinegar-actual vinegar from apples thought to have medicinal properties. I don't think the OP was referring to Cider. A lot of people suggest a few TBSPs a day. If you can stomach it, can't hurt I guess, but acck.

This is displacement theory that is applied many things (doing x displaces a need for x) that gets surfaced in just about every field every year. Recently I've read Minecraft displaces focus problems in teens with ADD. Look long enough and you can find the answer you want :).

Your stomach muscles are adhered to your torso infrastructure-far beneath any fat layers that may exist above. They don't have a lot to do with each other as far as tonality goes until you are talking about true cut-levels of definition.

OR, FitBit thinks you're just that good, SueInAz

They do have great CS and it is primarily because the tech inside the Fitbit is not expensive at all. They are very smart to provide replacements at a tiny cost to them in order to keep a happy customer who may place future orders and represent referral business. More tech companies are doing this now because the…

I ran a 5k in my 6th month with my second child-not saying that's right for everyone just letting you know that it's ok to run while pregnant. If you have been doing regular cardio, you're fine. Congratulations, and let your ob know that you are a runner, he/she can advise you.
