I have the same weight and goal, though I'm not going on vacation! Hello, goal twinsie!

I eat whatever I want, but I tend to be pretty balanced anyways. I haven't lost as quickly as others have, but it's going down... slowly.

A funny one I received was "If you were any more beautiful, you'd be a felony." Of course, my quick reply was, "Are you suggesting I'm only a misdemeanor now?" He didn't even look like a cop. My guess would have been a prosecuting attorney from his fancy suit.

Two hour delay today! I'll admit that after doing a little bit of shoveling, I'm already back in my PJs, haha. Thank goodness for telecommuting!

You're going to be close to some amazing and cheap Vietnamese food. So yummy and mostly healthy!

Northside Social is yummy, but the place I miss most in that area is Ray's Hellburger. I used to lunch there all the time when I worked in the area. Five Guys and Shake Shack in Dupont just aren't the same.

Boccato, by the Whole Foods on Wilson Blvd. They have comfy couches. Love that place. Might stop by on Friday.

I'm in DC proper, but my favorite coffee shop is in Arlington  Feel free to add me!

I exercise so I can eat more! Chocolate is a good motivator :)

MFP originally told me 1200 calories a day, but I was struggling in the beginning to do that and hungry all the time. My adjustments to 1 lb a week made it more bearable, but I find now (60 days into this), I actually am fine with 1200-1300 a day. I'm eating regular-sized meals and not starving. I'm just making better…

I can't remember the brand since I don't buy it any more, but it was a super thick and creamy yogurt from Whole Foods that tasted like heaven in a small, white plastic container. I used to eat it religiously. Sadly, I checked the label one day and it was over 250 calories! They must have injected flavor boosting calories…

Did you check in with your OB? I had to take iron supplements to avoid fatigue during that time of the month...

Egg drop soup is pretty quick and easy, and filling. Make chicken broth using a bouillon cube, then stir in lightly mixed eggs. Add fresh scallions on top, a splash of sesame oil (if you have some) and/or hot chile oil (if you like spice!) and you're good to go. If you want some meat in the soup, add in those precooked…

Try the little Ghirardelli dark chocolate squares that are individually wrapped. I savor each of those delectable fifty or so calories.

Have it with a squeeze of lemon, just like any other drink, to make it even more delicious ;)

I forgot to say that I've trained in Tang Soo Do, iaido, and wrestling.
-
Add me! Trying to get back in shape enough to do more serious training here. What's your preferred style(s)?
-
I did a lot of strength training and cardio in high school and college (karate, wrestling, lifting, and ballet). When I was about 126 to 130 lbs, my abs were gorgeous. And yes, I am 5'6" I'm trying to get my weight back down, but realistically don't think my abs are ever going to look as good as they did back then, since I…
-
I've had this happen to me... from an old college buddy who noticed I didn't have my rock solid abs from when we were in college :/ I don't even look big. Most people think I'm skinny enough. We were both horribly embarrassed.
-
I'm a foodie. I'm just trying to use portion control to stay in shape. Feel free to add me :)

Maybe she was hoping for a stray slap?

I used to make boys cry in high school. By beating them at wrestling.

When I have salad, people sniff and wonder what died in the kitchen. But I love my homemade papaya salad with fermented fish. So tasty. And so healthy. If only others appreciated it as much as I do. Be happy you don't get the nose wrinkles I do, even when my food isn't stinky.

I've been sneaking in yoga right before bed -- I load up a video on my tablet and go. It's quite relaxing.

I have an Aria Fit scale. Love it. It's a little pricey, but it's been motivating to use!

I've held Richard Simmons' hand, but that's the furthest we've gone ;) On that fear though... drowning, even though I know how to swim and float.

I am sympathetic to the OP, as I, too, have allergies that can set me off unexpectedly (i.e. I fainted at a crowded music concert once, in the middle of the dance floor, due to an allergic reaction), but that's why I carry my meds everywhere I go. It's my responsibility to take care of myself and remove myself from…

Washington, DC. DC Metro folks, feel free to add me as a buddy :)
