I've had the charge HR now for a bit, and I love it. You can put it into work out mode from the watch or the app. If you run outdoors and use your phone you can turn your phones GPS on to get a more accurate distance, pace, splits, and all that from the app. If anyone has any questions about the HR feel free to message me…

Thank you! That does seem really helpful. I'm a pretty casual user. I love the data but I don't need to track how many minutes i lift weights! I was interested in teh Basis too but the linking with MFP is key. Looks like the Charge HR is for me.

If thats all you want it for I would reccomend a HR monitor. Fitbits are more to give you an idea of your all day activity. Depending on the model it might night show any thing at the gym at all, say if you are spinning, weight lifting, etc.

I can help, sent you a request! I love cooking and sharing. Not super into working out yet, but I'm very familiar with the MFP set up. Starting up again. Always have had success with MFP, just have never found the motivation to stick with it. Cheers.
