Hello everyone! I would've never though I'll post to a topic like this cause I used to be able to eat a horse in one sitting. I've been cutting on 1900 kcals for 4 weeks, made some progress and today I decided to eat my maintenance calories which for today is 2300+. Ate 2320. (had a fitbit for a year and it's pretty…

I do this alll the time. Then boom one morning after my period if done I wake up with 2 lbs lighter and with more definition. Also after a refeed day(my body chills and lets go of all the retained water, though I don't do this often and I only eat a little more carbs that day). Your body is retaining water. It could be the…

Thanks heybale! :) Totally understandable. Our bodies are a lot more clever than us. Yeah.. why would it increase the calories it needs, seems stupid if we think and accept that the body is an effective machine. It won't increase it's fuel requirements :P

Rice cakes, oatmeal, honey, vegetables with rice, sauces, peanut butter.

I'm mostly physique oriented not strength, so I'm fine with some strength loss. It will come back as I increase my calories up again and keep adding back the weight on the bar, right? I'd also like to push my calories further once I'm done with this reverse. I'd like to try and add 10 g of carbs and 1 g fat each week and…

I didn't know that :P Haha. I'm just going by feel, let my body talk and listen to it. I think this is the most important overall. To be friends and a team with your body. Help it. It took a year for me to learn this.

Yes @Jennifer_Lynn_1982, I am lifting heavy on my 1500 week too. But that only means 3 lifting sessions that I have to do on that level. Next week I bump up to 1600 cals. Right now I'm on 1600 and I'm feeling weaker already. Can't wait to reverse out. I'm feeling the strongest above 2000 cals. When I feel weak and cannot…

Oh and I gained like 4 pounds only but I was also going out a few times with friends, and I had some meals were I didn't count, but finally I could eat to were I was satisfied and actually for the first time in a long while I said no to the last bites of pancake on my plate. That's a huge WOW for me. If you are well fed…

10 g carbs and 1g fat weekly as I said. That was the principle. But after 3-4 days on the new level I always felt confident to go faster because I didn't gain, even still lost weight at the beginning so I didn't eat one whole week on the same level always. I upped more frecuently. Every 3-4 days. I should also mention that…

I've lost the most body fat as I was reversing slowly out of my cut. My body just relaxed for the constant feeding that it got. I just felt like it told me that "hon, it's okay to let go of the stored fat as you won't be starved to hang on it". Keep your cut going and choose a very slow reverse and it should help you! I…

I always keep my protein the same. 1 g per lb of bodyweight. I only play around with my carbs and fats when I cut. From week to week I substract 20 g of carbs and 2 grams of fats until from my maintenance 2200 kcals go down to 1700-1800 in a month. Right now I'm on my 1800 kcal week and will see my body if I need to drop…

Can't link picture now, but mine nowadays in a 15% cut is usually 40-60g oats, one teaspoon of honey, cinnamon, and a hardboiled egg. I usually pre-log my next day and sometimes I need to add some protein powder to my oats to meet my protein goal at the end of the day :)

Date.

I want those cheeks and eyes!

Around spring I lost 6 lbs on 1500 kcals. I didn't have my period for 4 months and I was weak and looked like a bird. Didn't want to move, wake up, go out. I wasn't bony or "lean" or anything. I still had quite a bit of fat everywhere. I decided to change it, stopped counting, started eating. Gained 4 lbs back and got my…

25-ish is my guess if I look at these women, no way above 30 (as that dumb scale says). Thank you! 20-22 goals though!

Thanks for sharing your experience :) Helps a lot!

Thanks a lot! Everyone is so supportive here I just love the forums and the whole community :) !!

Well I'm in my country's second biggest city so I'm sure somewhere is one. It is not vital for me to know, but one day if I feel like that I'd like to find out my stats. :)
-
That's it! If I look at body fat pictures of women, I would put myself somewhere between 22-25%.
-
I understand your point and appreciate what you said. Thank you very much! I was just curious about these scales cause I never tried one.
-
That's what I'm trying to focus on. Mirror, clothes, a belt that I use often, progress pictures. :)
-
Sadly it doesn't come with any 1 to 5 scale :( But I kind of get what you say. The manual says that the percentages do differ from person to person according to how sporty they are.

What is your height and body weight and exactly how many carbs do you eat atm? How was your intake before reducing? There was a time for me too when I ate around 150 and that was when I looked my best. But that was also because of the high protein and the overall low calories (1500). Now I eat between 220-240 and probably…

Just thanks generally for everyone! You are all so positive and helping for my mindset! You really really motivate me and thanks for reassuring me that I do have a good posture. I thought I was a little lordotic around the lower back, but I feel no pain, so that's all right.

The first months I went by myself and a guy, a friend who introduced me to the iron paradise as he calls it :P Now I'm on Jamie Eason's lifting programme, starting the 4th week.

They do always feel tense when I stand up, even sometimes when I sit. That and my good posture must be due to riding a lot. I can ride 4-5 hours with straight back on long trail rides. We do take a 30 mins rest halfway though :)

I train 3-4 times a week, I'd do even 5 if my college schedule would let me. At the moment I'm only lifting and walking a ton to uni and on the campus. Thank you for the compliment, means a lot :)

I've read that post several times, still a good reminder. Thank you! Will try. And will come back with updates if I can keep to my new lifestyle, away from my home and in a new environment. :)
