Day 11, first day of Level 2, felt like dead weight, but I'm looking forward to it getting easier as I get stronger.

Hi, for me finding motivation is the most important thing..if you have a goal clearly in mind and you really want to get there, everything else (the diet, the exercise) is possible. You need to a clear goal, a clear vision of what you want your body to be. Saying "i should lose a few pounds" isnt going to get you there.…

Hi, I'm on 1200 (5021kj) I'm on my last few kgs to lose (8lbs) so I've upped my exercise in an effort to get me over the line. I'm usually fine to stay under 1200 (unless i eat out, which is maybe once a week) and I generally don't eat back my exercise calories. The weight has been coming off steadily, so hopefully that…

Option 1: have a small amount of what you crave, log it, adjust your eating/exercise plan for the rest of the day/tomorrow, keep on track. Option 2: i try on clothes from my wardrobe.i know which items i just fit again, but are still a little tight. Putting them on refocuses me on where i want to get to, and why I'm doing…

Do you mean in 10 weeks you lost 5lb in the first 5 weeks, but nothing for the last 5 weeks? Or You've dieted for 10 weeks but only lost 5lbs in the last 5 weeks? If the latter, 1lb per weeks seems about right, depending on how much you have to lose. If the former, then double check your logging is super accurate. I think…

The long story is that my weight used to be pretty stable but a few years back I gained a lot of weight (20kg) over a short period do to a medical issue, so I'm getting back to my 'true' size. I lost a bit over half the…

I hear ya! I recently joined a challenge group which is all in pounds, so I'm having to think in imperial, but at least pounds come off faster than kilos!

The general idea is CICO, so as long as you're within what MFP sets you should lose weight. But I think the "bonus" from excercise is that it builds muscle which helps your body burn more calories even when you're not exercising. There are obviously general health benefits from exercise, but from a diet point of view it…

I've just started. Found it not too bad, challenging but managable. I'm not fit so I did the easy push ups and was a bit slower on the jumping jacks, but I got through without stopping. Day two I could feel the muscles from day one, but not too sore, so I think that's about right. I don't have hand weights so I'm using…
