Go from a low fiber to a high fiber diet, and then report back the results. More than likely, you will feel the results. It takes a bit for your body to adjust to fiber. As for the quotation marks, I use them in jest. There are no good nor bad foods. Food is just food.

You won't need any professional help to get into a normal body weight range. But to see your abs, well that that's a whole new bucket of worms. Same concepts, it's just more difficult to get there. Still doable, you never need to hire anybody, but they have their benefits when you're within maybe 20 lbs or so.

I always custom set my calorie goal, because MFP says my maintenance calories are 2600 when they're really 3200.

Indeed it does, part in reason because of increased blood flow.

It's likely that your body just isn't used to the "bad food" anymore, because you haven't been used to it. Watch out in the coming years, you'll be hearing the term "gut biome" all over the place. It's the same if you go from a bologna sandwich and mac n cheese diet to a diet full of "healthy" fiber. You'll have stomach…

They're all pretty much the same, but I would recommend taking both a multivitamin and multimineral.

Well with that logic, since I have to "muster up the will power" to eat my vegetables, maybe I shouldn't be eating vegetables? I also have to use will power to go to the gym, something I don't particularly enjoy doing. Maybe I shouldn't go to the gym, either?

I don't see juicing as a way to cure anything; I see it as a way to get in your vitamins and minerals from vegetables that you wouldn't normally ever eat. I have to use willpower to make myself eat vegetables, but I can make a really tasty veggie juice that I'll drink down in 10 seconds that will contain that I'm not…

Watch Discovery Channel's "Naked and Afraid". Why is it that every contestant loses a sizable chunk of weight during the 21 day challenge? Telling her to eat more to lose weight is just wrong.

1 lb a week is pretty easy to do. 1.5 lbs a week, you'll start feeling the hunger, but still manageable. 2 lbs a week, it'll become a test of willpower, you'll have to be strict and not each much processed food.

I watched it, I juice, but I've never done a juice fast, there's no need to do so. I eat fruit like crazy, but I'm not a fan of veggies. I like to juice a few carrots with a beet, drink it on down. Gives me all the vitamins and minerals that I'm not getting from the rest of my diet and I don't have to munch on carrots all…

Know what's an excellent 100 calorie snack pack? Fruit. A big ole banana. A honeycrisp apple. Filling, delicious, provides sustainable energy, water and fiber. I love me some fruit, eat it eryday.
