I started fasting this week doing OMAD (one meal a day) and it has been the only thing getting the last 10 pounds off. I also do the ketogenic diet which helps with my hormone levels. Try the intermittent fasting and see if it works for you!

Amazing!! Can't wait to try this! @KetoNaomi

I'm new to this group and have been doing keto for a few months and love it. I just started intermittent fasting which is helping shed the last 10 pounds that I never seem to get rid of! I also had to stop eating dairy as it was stalling my progress! It sounds like you are doing amazing! keep those heavy lifts going!

Ahhhh!! Look you did your first interval! Ha!! Great Job!

That's awesome! Sounds like you have it dialed in. Can't wait until I figure out my own intensity level that works for me!

I haven't had to explain OMAD to anyone yet since I have just started. I am constantly surrounded by surgar since my boss has me supply the kitchen with what looks like a candy store. I know how it feels to be surrounded all day by goodies people bring to work. What has worked for me in the past when I don't want to eat…

Yes! I know what you mean about the "fasting highs!" I'm only on my 5th day and it seems to be getting easier. I usually feel pretty hungry an hour before I have my OMAD but I just drink a lot of hot tea to help settle it. I also eat unsalted nuts at my meal they are a great source of healthy fats. You are doing amazing!!…

HIIT training is great but it is something you can't do everyday because it is too stressful on the system. We all have to watch our cortisol levels. Doing it twice a week is all I ever do. As for my energy reserves I have definitely pulled back a lot while starting OMAD. Mainly because I want to get used to eating this…

Hi Rachel! My OMAD is around the same time at 6:15pm. You are going to do awesome today!!

Whoo hoo! Amazing!!

I do circuit training so I keep my intensity level high as I move from one exercise to another so I get both my cardio and weight training together. I really don't like cardio unless it is interval training on a rowing machine. I have spent too many years doing countless hours of cardio and it really isn't the most…

Hi Jim! Congrats on starting and getting through your first couple of days. And Yes, keep in mind that this is something that is going to improve your health and overall happiness!

I have been a Personal Trainer for the past 8 years and a natural fitness competitor. I recently got out of the industry because I could no longer preach the 6 meals a day, low fat diet and having clients do hours of cardio. Now I believe I have found success with a ketogenic diet, OMAD and doing short (30 min) full-body…

I only have 10 pounds to lose and yes OMAD will help you. Don't worry about exercise at first, just get used to this style of eating. You don't want to overstress your system. Even though you only have 20 pounds to lose fasting has other amazing benefits. Good Luck!
