I had this same question not too long ago. I started writing in a journal and it helped me to the bottom of this behavior; it's easier to stay the way I am than force myself into uncomfortable, unfamiliar situations. I know how to be the fat me and no one else. I know what fits me now, where to shop, what people think of…

Start by figuring out what the hardest thing was for you. If you think improving your diet is the priority, what about that is causing the most trouble for you? I can only speak from experience. For me, I was eating 3000 to 4000 calories a day. Obviously gained back everything I lost eating that much, so what I focused on…

Could be different diets. Do you drink? I notice when I have more wine I can't workout as intensely and get exhausted easily.

My routine M-F up at 445am, gym by 5am workout 5 to 6am ish breakfast til about 645am bath, dress, whatever, be at work by 8 am I love going to bed and getting up early now. I cannot stand rushing around in the morning. With this routine I set myself up for less stressful, more productivity, more positivity, more proactive…

High resistence on the seat bike slimmed my thighs a lot.

I use it when I don't feel like an intense cardio-only workout. I skip the cardio and do weight machines 2x, sometimes do all the machines as hard as I can, sometimes skip around until I reach 30 mins and leave.

Had to stop comparing myself to others -- had to check myself. Stupid me would compare myself to the more fit people at the gym, thinking they were there because they wanted to show off how skinny and fit they are. And I'd get jealous and stop going. Who am I to even worry about why someone else is at the gym, why they're…

I'm in the McDonalds drive thru right now getting bigMacs for my boyfriend. I didn't order anything for me! That was tough 😑

Doesn't it feel amazing?! My pants from last winter were cutting into my stomach and leaving a mark. I wore the same pants today and felt a little embarrassed that I didn't wear a belt. They were obviously too big and baggy.... and falling off me. We're doing it!

Yes!!

That is awesome!! It's so hard... cheese is the BEST.

I felt like crap all week, but stuck to my goal of at least 30 minutes of exercise 5x a week! It's true that motivation does NOT last, but discipline and good habits will. I would have much rather stayed in bed all weekend. I think the fresh air and getting out of bed did me some good because I feel almost at 100%...…

I was at the grocery store and was going to buy 3 bags of Hershey bars... you know, just to have a little something after dinner. I knew it was a bad idea (right now) because I'd succumb to emotions and eat an entire bag that night. So, the chocolate stayed at the store and out of my house!

For anyone that may seek help for a similar problem in the future: PT said the issue/cause for what felt like tightness was actually overstretching of weak muscles, setting me up for injury and overworking other muscles. Who woulda thunk! So, after just a few times doing strengthening exercises my legs feel much better,…

Nice!! 😊 My tip: JUST KEEP GOING Repeat this phrase over and over, especially on days that are tough (because those will happen). Being consistent is more important than anything, imo.

Maybe check how you're logging food. Are you logging everything? Are you weighing? Weighting is more accurate than using measuring cups. Example: 14 chips is the serving size but they're all broken. A slice of cheese is 70 calories but if its thicker, it could weigh more and be 140.

I say eat the pizza, eat burgers, eat what you want unless these things make you sick... like a gluten allergy. I don't see the point in making yourself miserable. That's the best way to continue having a weight problem and unhealthy relationship with food. Some people can do it, being mentally strong to restrict that…

Take a break for a couple days. How often do you exercise? I began this summer using exercise as a way to destress. Now I rarely miss a day because of the huge difference it's made on my outlook. Things that used to stress me to the point of eating myself into a coma don't phase me at all. Good luck! I😊

My night routines and morning routines make my days go smooth most of the time and get me up. I do all the stuff my mother would beg me to do before bed when I was a kid, like lay clothes and shoes out, bathe lol, prepare lunch and work bags, wash dishes. I also get my workout clothes ready to go on the end of the bed for…

Same here. I'm going to blame it on the weather change and over exerting myself yesterday. Take it easy! Tomorrow will be better. 😊

Finally got to the doc. Iliopsoas injury and tendonitis-- PT starting next week. Fingers crossed it's a better experience than the last place I went to...
