WOW. These pictures are truly inspiring. You all should be so proud! Some of you lost the weight fairly quick too. Bravo!

Negative comments just make me sad and want to eat more and AVOID that person! However, I find positive comments are motivating!!!

My aha moment was a combination of things. My MD suggested I look into gastric surgery which really scared me. Also, I couldn't stand to look at pictures of myself. Then a very large obese woman started at my work and every time I saw her, I would think to myself-I'm just a few pizzas away from looking like that- you'd…

Shrimp cocktail or quickly stir fried with a veggie is quick and easy. I also buy lean shaved steak and cook a little bit at a time to have for dinner or as a sandwich on a lowfat wrap.

I'm 46 and have been in perimenapause for about 2 years. I figure I was eating about 2200-2400 calories a day and I started eating 1200 calories per day and I've lost 12 pounds in thirty days. I was very hungry at first but my body seems to be adjusting. It can be done!

I will only drink on weekends now and only if i really want to.

I'm 5'5" and the charts say I should be at about 125. I'd be happy at 140-150. I'm 214 now

I think she is lying to herself. Just smile and walk away. I have a friend who says that she has fibrous tumors in her uterus which make her unable to lose weight... never heard that one before.

Hi, I have 75 to lose and just started too. It is so hard, I'm hungry all the time but keeping my eye on the prize- a skinnier, healthier me. It's not going to be easy but you can do it. Just take it one day at a time or should I say one pound a week...we will get there!

Wow. Amazing transformation. I'm just starting out and find healthy foods so bland and unsatisfying. Do you eventually get used to them or actually really like them at some point?

I'm right there with you! This is so hard but little by little, day by day, the weight will come off. I have to remember I didn't gain 75 pounds in 6 months, it took years so it will take time to lose 75 pounds. Good luck to you.

Hi, I am 46 and need to lose 75 lbs. I just joined this site too and find it very helpful. Keeping track of everything I eat made me really aware of what I was putting in my mouth. I'm way more aware of calorie counts. Who knew that one little dunkin donut munchkin had 80 calories! I could eat five of those a day as they…

I love wings too. Try eating carrot and celery sticks dipped in a tiny bit of hot sauce and blue cheese dressing- almost tastes like buffalo wings!

I need to lose 75 pounds. This number seems like a mountain and it is but I've already lost 10 pounds in one month by counting calories and eating healthy things. If I can lose 10 lbs every month I will reach my goal in 7 months- just in time for summer! I am changing the way I think about food & aware of every thing I put…

Hi, I just joined this site. I have never tried to diet in my life but now find myself 60-70 pounds overweight and hate the way I look in pictures. This is all new to me. I started a 1200 calorie a day diet on 12/16/14 and lost 11 pounds. I know I can do this and so can you! Your mind and body just need to get used to…
