Instant Pot six quart, I love it. I grew up as a kid using stove top pressure cookers which are more fiddly.

I listen to podcasts but audible books would be good also.

I found that Bag Balm works as well or better than any prescription cream I have tried. I have had the most success by making sure I have adequate sun exposure. When I have a winter outbreak I go to a local tanning salon. I don't go often enough to really tan, just a couple times a week for the psoriasis. I've never…

Celebrate the weirdness fellow walker!

It will help you stay alive as opposed to dying of dehydration.

Forget everything you think you know, and eat less. Eat all the things you have been but eat less. The purpose of gastric bypass type surgeries is they force you to eat less. Obviously, even that can be overcome by someone determined to overeat.

Maybe an alternative you haven't considered? I listen to podcasts on topics of interest to me so I exercise my mind and body at the same time.

Never made tater tots, we slice them and fry them in unrefined coconut oil. In other words, sweet potato home fries.

I only eat raw foods before 4 a.m. Of course I don't get up until 6 a.m. :)

Benefits of juicing; It is great for the elderly if they have a hard time chewing (masticating) food. That is the only benefit I can think of.

I don't see anyone being mean or trolling. I am not and I certainly am not looking for a date. However, you seem determined to only listen to comments that reinforce your preconceived erroneous idea. We are telling you the truth, Coconut oil is a healthy fat and is a good addition to your foods but it is NOT a diet aid for…

Boring and monotonous. I need stimulus as in something to look at, smell, and feel. I've tried it watching television or videos and it still didn't make it any more tolerable. Riding on roads and trails most all of your senses are constantly stimulated at every new turn or mile. Riding in one's basement, garage, or…

I'm on my way, it will take a little while to get there from New York though so wait for me.

You will need to experiment for yourself, it varies. For me I don't try to workout for a couple hours after eating a meal. Snacks aren't an issue for me and in fact sometimes I snack during a hike, bike, or run.

It has been a long time since I was there but I ran the strip every morning. There are very few people out and around before say 10 a.m. Light traffic made the street crossings easy. If you have transportation I imagine there are some good runs outside of town but I flew in and out and was on foot while there.

Everything posted on the forum is an opinion, there is no need to include a disclaimer. BTW; my brother-in-law's next door neighbor's best friend heard about a guy that lost weight using coconut oil as a diet aid whilst eating 5,400 kcal per day and being sedentary. So it must work as a diet aid because my brother-in-law's…

Correct. A male should eat a minimum of 1500 kcal per day. Go out and get some extra exercise and then you can eat even more than 500 kcal today.

Hear of it and read about it and have been using Coconut oil for over 20 years. It still is just a healthy fat that tastes good and it is not a "diet aid" in regards to losing weight.
-
You are lumping diet in regards to nutrition and health together with diet in regards to weight loss. For weight loss CICO is all that matters.
-
So by your definition then, all food is a "diet aid".
-
Okay, congratulations, I guess, I think. Scratching head in puzzlement.
-
You're not listening, IT IS NOT A DIET AID. There are no magic diet aids. It is a healthy oil that tastes good, that's it, period.
-
Coconut oil is wonderful but it does nothing particular for weight loss. There are no magic potions for losing weight. Weight loss is simple math, consume less calories than you burn.
-
Plan your consumption and log it in your diary before you go and then stick to your plan. Even then, an occasional self indulgent day isn't the end of the world.

A very fast walk will get you almost the same benefit as a slow run but without the impact. Don't push too hard and hurt yourself.

Why eat oatmeal if you don't like oatmeal? Seems weird to me.

My typical breakfast is; banana @ 105 kcal one hard boiled egg @ 78 kcal black coffee @ 0 kcal or close enough total = 183 kcal Did you really only eat 1 gram of banana? Looking at your breakfast, I'd wager it is more calories than you think.

Eat as many as you want. Cholesterol in food is not directly related to blood cholesterol in spite of what the so called "experts" have claimed.

Arthritis? I get hip pain if I overdue walking, running, or bicycling. I'm older but you are old enough to have arthritis.
