You need to know how many calories you burn each day and eat that amount, give or take.

If you feel like you may slip or begin to rationalize eating something you shouldn't, just try to relive how you felt about yourself before you started. Try to visualize how amazing you will feel when you get to where you want to be and know you can be. It works for me.

Hardly ever. I am far more concerned with how my clothes fit and what I see in the mirror. As long as I feel good about myself and know I'm eating healthy, weight is just a number.

Raw Kale. It's so 'efing nasty. Tried to force myself and couldn't do it, so no. There's so much good great tasting, healthy food, why would you force yourself to eat something.

That's an incredible loss! Gaining 8 of it back is absolutely nothing to feel bad about. After 150, you can lose 8 again! You might need to take a look at the source of why you're feeling this way. One hint: it has nothing to do with the scale. Regardless of whether or not you want to remain with this man, you could…

I like to slice each half into cubes then drizzle with a few grams of honey and season with sea salt. It's amazing!

Agreed.

Coat 4oz of asparagus with about 1/4 tbs of olive oil. Brown in an iron skillet over medium heat (you don't want the olive oil to smoke). You can use any skillet, but I like iron. Turn every few minutes until it just starts to blacken then sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.

Eat before you meet up with your friends. Try to eat something that will stay with you longer and keep you full. Avoid alcohol. It will only make you more hungry.

Great work! Thank you for sharing.

It depends on your goal. If you want to build muscle and lose fat, do it after lifting. I don't know of any men that don't want to build muscle and lose fat. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ask-the-ripped-dude-cardio-before-or-after-weights.html A University of Tokyo Study published in Medicine and Science in Sports and…

Eat a balanced diet and try to put on muscle. Several studies have shown that performing cardio after weight training is more effective, so maybe switch that up. I'd recommend a 10 min warm up, lift, then more cardio. Make sure not to over-train as well. Just keep going and you'll get there.

If you're simply supplementing your poor diet, how concerned with your health can you actually be? Eat better and supplement that with a good quality multivitamin. Have an annual physical with your doctor at which time they'll typically draw blood and test for any abnormalities or deficiencies.

Great job!

I've been there too many times to count and it sucks. Talk with your doctor about 5-htp. It's literally changed my life. Stay with the exercise and find ways to be motivated.

Never do leg extensions. Ice daily. Use a foam roller and stretch after your workout.

Great work. Keep pushing and make changes in diet and exercise where needed. Don't focus on where you were or where you are, but get excited about where you can be and make it happen.

The no/low carbs does work, but eventually you'll wind up right back where you started or worse. You body needs a balance of protein, carbs and fat. Most important is the source and types of protein, carbs and fat. It will take longer to see the results, but you will look better and be more healthy in the long run. Weight…

I've done it in the past and it does work, but only if you plan on doing low carb for the rest of your life. You're better off finding a good balance of protein, carbs and fat. Your body needs all 3 to function properly. Your progression will be slower, but you'll be far more healthy in the long run.

That's not nearly enough time to even begin to see any difference. If you're exercising and lifting, I would not even worry about "weight". How your clothes fit and how you see yourself in the mirror will ultimately be what matters. Everyone understands feeling discouraged, but you have to find it in yourself to push…
