Maybe not obese, but really heavy for 3 decades. I decided at 48 it was time to make a change and it will be 4 years tomorrow that I've not only kept it off, but added muscle and am in the best shape of my life at 52.

Sorry to hear that Samantha. Have they offered you surgery? I had similar situation at L4-L5 and L5-S1 and had surgery and things are a million times better.

Congrats on your 21lbs! That is fantastic. Find a reason why you want to lose, a reason that drives you every day, and then just keep thinking about the next 5 lbs and you'll get there.

My 9 year-old daughter (Honda CRF50f) and me (Yz450f) both ride. I also have a street bike too. Being 50lbs lighter has made me a more active dad and my daughter a much happier little girl.

I have the EatSmart Precision GetFit Digital Body Fat Scale which seems pretty accurate for weight but not sure about fat %. It's off about 4% from what my Skulpt reports. I just started looking into the Under Armour Health Box.

Good luck - it's definitely doable. I have a couple friends who have lost over 100 pounds. The most important advice I got from them was to focus on the next 5 pounds - not the 100 pounds - as that may seem impossible at times and you'll get frustrated and give up.
