I have a glass of wine or two most days. More at the weekend. I've lost 20lb since the start of this year...thats 7 or 8 weeks. I log it all. If there is a night out planned I will exercise more in the week to "save up". I take a weekly average of calories so a day high or a day low do not bother me... I average 1350 a…

Maybe they got rid of it cuz people didn't like it popping up on their walls! Would be a little like just putting on there "I JUST GOT SOME!!!!" I guess...

And i really want (or don't want) to know how a reverse dragon works...

I dunno tho...isn't exercise meant to be something that increases the heart rate? Breathing rate? Works up a sweat? I agree if ur staring at the ceiling thinking of england that's not gonna be much of a burn...but if ur doing it more enthusiastically? To be fair, i like to log everything as I'm interested, helps me work…

Thank you all so much! Given some good options for me to try! It can be a learning curve this cooking and switching ingredients malarkey! :D

To be fair i think going "hang on a sec..." and starting the timer might be a little bit of a passion killer...

Next time I'm out shopping i shall look for light coconut milk :) my asda is a tad shocking for its "world food" selection sadly! Saying that, i did enjoy the not quite tikka masala!! Am thinking perhaps i added the yoghurt at the wrong stage...stirring in at the end may have been a better way!!

Lose, sweetie, not loose. You're female yes? Nature has designed many women with a layer of belly fat for the purpose of helping to protect the baby growing stuff. Even when I got quite severely under weight there was still a teeny layer of fat on my lower tummy. It is what it is. Daresay it could be stripped off…

one flash of light that shows the way...

Thank you so much! I'm sure i can find a uk equivalent ;) Had a disaster today with low fat greek yoghurt...it curdled! Managed to sieve it out but bah! Spose i learned a lesson. Tikka masala paste + yoghurt = gross!! Why did it go so wrong?! I mean people put cream in these things! Its not *that* different surely... Have…

I take the odd vitamin and mineral suppliment like iron, B complex, D, C is a cold threatens. I've tried a lot of weight loss ones over the years and its a big load of cow poop. I think there was one...ephidrine?? That did seem to work but the side effects weren't fab - hypertension and palaptations...you don't wanna mess…

Depression and Anxeity here...been on and off Fluoxetine/Setraline since I nearly had a nervous breakdown 15 years ago. The hardest thing I've found is "Other people can deal with this? WHY CAN'T I?" and trying to accept that some people are just born with problems and my life is what it is. Some people don't make enough…

I don't quite understand it...they make some of them lose weight for surgery...they do it...soooo tell them "another stone or 2"...and keep doing it. If they can lose some, they clearly have the skills to lose the rest. And those that are bed ridden... DO. NOT. FEED. THE. ELEPHANT. What are they gonna do?? Shout cuz you…

Do you weigh your food? I even weigh lettuce. If you're guessing then how do you KNOW how much there is? And every tiny think needs to be logged! What do you drink? Water and zero calorie drinks can be ignored unless you're tracking intake...but its very easy to drink a lot of calories! Especially if its wine!

Some times people really truely surprise me. In that, sometimes, it is extraordinary that they have not yet been culled by natural selection...

I got some and use it for cooking and also in the bath, on skin and hair. Makes lush roast veg. I dont tend to bother much about good/bad foods. Seems one minute something is a super food and will cure aids/cancer/poverty then the next day it'll kill you.

Think I may have a before pic on my old phone....reminded me to seek it out! I don't notice the difference...others do...I only noticed the other week when I ran downstairs and my jeans fell down!! That was at 17lb in...haven't set a goal as such...aiming to drop 2 stones and then I'll see!

Situation depending for me. Loved my man in his tux for casino night. Also in his fancy dress renaissance costume. His usual is t shirt hood n jeans woth boots or trainers. I get a bit in heat when hes in his leathers...i may be a weird pervert. For me. Work i wear no make up n cheap crappy clothes as i may ruin them.…

Me too!! Glad tho! He's not so good with the non face to face interraction...we live 50 miles apart n only see each other at weekends and don't actually text or call that much at all! The second date he stayed in my spare room, got home after dinner n a few pubs, i was making tea and managed to pour boiling water…

Had some pretty bad ones. Met one guyin a pub. He drank a pepsi, said "nice to meet you" and legged it to my bemusement. I did wonder what I had done but as far as I could work out...nothing... Fair few that didn't look like their pictures. Some marvelous freaky messages. Best being the guy who was on medication that…

It is always harder to lose the nearer you get to goal. Its part of the reason I so often lose interest! And a 2 week plateau is nothing. Maybe mix up the exercise a bit? Do something different? Throw in some lifting?

I did do 5:2 last year. Was quite successful. Ate reasonably 5 days and fasted for 2...sometimes I had snacks in the day (fruit or veg sticks), sometimes I saved all the cals for dinner (500cal on fast day) Just depends on your will power not to go mental when you do get to eat and stick within the 500 cals. I sort of do 5…

What does it work out as as a weekly average? I tend to under eat during the week so I can have free range at weekends...average works out at about 1400 cals a day.

Sometimes I still wonder "What is WRONG with these *insert bad word* people who feel the need to just be controlling, nasty pieces of excrement?" Glad I've packed in the feculent boyfriend period of my life, moved to independant single lady for a good period, after which I found a lovely man who I have been with for almost…

I am STILL paying for my *£!%&*$! ex...I took out loans so we could live/he could live in the pub. He didn't work and I paid all the bills...oh no! Sorry!! He paid the Virgin TV bill of £40 so thats all OK then. Thanks I got? Debt and regular kickings and eventually being made homeless. Oh and an attempted rape. In a…

:\ I'm a tad miffed with the advertising of popcorn recently...skinny popcorn, low fat etc....as long as you air pop and don't smother it in butter/toffee/sugar it just IS low fat! Like advertising a cabbage as "Diet, Low Fat Cabbage!!"... I've loved it for about 25 years. Had my air popper since my Mum bought posh pans…

Usually do 3 sets of 10 reps for each different move (I was told what they were all called but do not remember now! I made up my own names so I could remember what to do!)...It was suggested that less reps might be in order once I increase weight but it's really what you feel comfortable with.
-
I have just started adding some weights, I use the 2kg ones in the gym. I'm feeble. And I feel it is important to get the action/position correct and get comfortable with the move...when I get the hang of it and my confidence up I shall look at upping the weight.

Thats very helpful and interesting! Although i would think caution would be advisable in my current condition as breathing is an issue!

I do quite enjoy walking/hiking but that's all weather dependant, I'd hate it in the freezing rain for example! I'm a sun bunny, winter makes me want to hibernate and eat pies so getting to the gym 3 or 4 times a week every week is an achievement for me. I am trying to up fitness levels as well as lose weight as my SO is…
