When I fast (most I've ever done is 72 hours) I then have a terrible reaction from refeed - I end up with diarrhoea (sp?). Does anyone know how to avoid this?

Well done!

feel free to friend me the you can see my diary - I'm in the UK. I've become a bit lazy about logging recently, but would try and do better if I thought it would help someone.

Such fantastic progress, making me seriously think about following you as I could REALLY do with losting 14 lbs in 10 days!!!! I put on 10lbs over 3 weeks of off the wagon at Easter. I wonder if my husband "let" me, or divorce me for unreasonable behaviour!

you don't need to add fibre - fat takes over where fibre used to help. When you've been on this WOE for a while it should resolve. If problems, eat more fat.

You can definitely do it!

Thanks so much for your help.

Thanks everybody. Just ate 295g with an accidental tonne of spices in as the spice mix had clumped together and went in all at once. My mouth is on fire!

I've only just noticed the "like" buttons! How slow am I?!?

Do you feel full on that amount of ground beef? It seems quite low to me (I think I may just be very greedy/habitual overeater!)

@FIT_Goat and @glossbones Are your patty sizes/weights based on uncooked meat or cooked? Sorry if you addressed this in one of your previous posts. I haven't quite gone all carnivore, but on the days when I get to cook only for myself in the evenings, I have started to choose carnivore. However, 1/4 lb uncooked mince is…

not sure about this, but every diet is usually a lower carb diet, yet people talk about how it is only CICO. Most diets include cutting out sugary drinks, sweets etc.

Sorry you had so much trouble @Karlottap hope your ulcer gets better soon.

I don't think you are confused really - I think you know that the ADA is confused and contradictory. It's not helping anyone with this rubbish!

I'm like you, I like to read a book before doing something! I read Keto Clarity by Jimmy Moore. It's easy to read, but full of information. I didn't do all he recommended, it took a long while before I wanted to drop meals, but it was a great introduction and having been keto on and off for 15 months, I feel now that it is…

Thanks for the positive feedback folks - I wasn't sure if I should inflict such a long article on you all, but I should never underestimate the intelligence of folk on this forum. I got my mum to read it too as she doesn't like my LCHF diet. She agrees about cutting out sugar, but still thinks we should go for a low fat…

This is a good reminder - I'm back after two weeks carb binging. I can't do moderation. So ashamed of myself, can't bring myself to look on the scale. As others have said, if I did moderation, I wouldn't have got to where I am.

well done you! fantastic transformation and you put me to shame in your quiet success!

I really want to do all-animal april, but will require negotiation at home with my husband, plus my mum is coming over for the weekend in early april and will go bananas at the idea - not sure I can take the grief!

Fantastic loss, well done!

I've never had headache or dizziness on low carb. It really is optional! Magnesium, potassium and sodium!

I've recently started one meals day to try to control my calories. So I have one c.1300 cal meal in the evenings. I do get hungry inbetween but I have done various types of IF, and this is no worse that way. My problem is I can overeat 3 times a day so I am trying to limit it to once a day. This is a recent thing so not…
