When I first started tracking I was shocked at how much I ate too. I set a goal for myself to eat less each day and trying to eat in a more balanced way. I didn't cut anything out of my diet, I just starting eating less and added in more fruits and veggies.

@rhaiin - It looks like you have a good start to your goal. I too was using my phone too and laying it down. I got a cheap clip-on pedometer for six or seven dollars to keep track of my steps. It is nothing fancy and I don't miss out on any steps.

I understand where you are coming from. It is really frustrating and depressing. I am re losing 35 pounds to get to where I was. I just remind myself it didn't come off quick the first time and I want to make sure that I am healthy while I am doing it. Be kind to yourself and just do the best you can.

If you care about yourself enough to eat what you think is best for you, why would you abuse your body by dehydrating it in a sauna suit and trying to lose weight quickly? Losing a lot of weight quickly is not healthy. Put your numbers in to MFP and follow the recommendations.
