  • I have an omelet every morning. Have a very set routine first thing and this fits in. I add whatever is in the fridge, so it doesn't get boring. Cheese, mushrooms, peppers, ham, salmon, although not all at once! I have also found that if I deviate from the omelet I get very hungry mid morning and start snacking.
  • fortunately there is a fridge. Its due to the hours that I work, that I like to make food ahead of time. I have found that if I don't I end up stopping on the way to work and making bad choices.
  • Why not give yourself a break while your Dad is in hospital. It sounds like you have enough stress in your life at the moment for your body to cope with. Just be sensible with walking rather than driving when you can, using stairs rather than lifts etc.
