  • I don’t even think of Prime for streaming tv shows, always just go to Hulu. Let alone workouts. Great recommendation.
  • That is great to have that at home. My brother is moving out of his house to an apt and was going to give me his weights. But he wound up getting an apt that included a garage so he is going to keep them. I’ll be fine with the gym soon, just cardio focused for a few weeks I guess
  • Mini Challenge 1/6 tracked: yes under: yes active: i did walk today but I didn’t time it and I dont know if I hit the 20 minute requirement so I will be fair and say no Sun: y/n/n Mon: y/y/y Tue: y/y/y Wed: y/y/n
  • Hahaha. I agree with what you said though. We all start somewhere. It’s just a fact that 80-90% people who think a new calendar year means they are going to change don’t stick to it. I think you need a better reason to want to lose weight than “eating too many Christmas cookies” in December.
  • Went to the gym last night. Most of December I was one of 4-5 people there. I was hoping the pandemic would mean that the “new year new me” people wouldn’t be out this year. But they are. Cause of capacity limits I couldn’t even get near the weights section so I just hit the treadmill. I guess I’ll be paying for a monthly…

  • I know this feeling all to well. The good news is you do get a fresh start every single day. I know everybody is different, but I can say personally that checking in on this message board does help keep me accountable. If you ever see that I haven’t been on here for a week or two, unfortunately that means I am off the…
  • Wow the difference in this thread between December (hardly any posts cause almost everyone gives up over the holidays) to January when you have dozens of posts to catch up on when you log in. Mini Challenge 1/4 tracked: yes under: yes active: yes Sun: y/n/n Mon: y/y/y
  • Hello returning and new members. I really let the worst of 2020 get to me and I am back to my heaviest weight. I actually had a decent December up until Xmas/New Year, then I gained it all back over that one week. I’m not one of those new month/year is a reason to try and change kind of guys, but I do like setting goals. I…
  • Weigh In LW: 263 CW: 270 I know that I did not actually gain 7 lbs and a lot of this is bloated water weight from a bad holiday diet (at least I hope that’s the case) Anyway, positivity: I am proud of how I handled the weeks up to the holiday and was able to jump into a better routine. Sucks I blew it this past week but I…
  • I haven’t been on here this week but I have stayed strong. My diet has been perfect. Only worked out once cause it’s been busy. This week absolutely sucked but I didn’t break one day. LW: 264.0 CW: 263.0 Also, I hope it’s okay I am weighing in a day early. It’s Christmas Eve and I am absolutely gonna sabotage my week with…
  • 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
  • Nothing wrong with enjoying the holidays. Especially in a year like this. It seems you are already mindful of the situation. I think most of is agree that simply maintaining over these next two weeks would be a big win
  • I’m right back on track today. About to cook some Tuna steaks and brown rice for dinner!
  • On top of all the lovely news, I got a flat tire yesterday. Changing a tire in the snow, I snapped. Totally lost it. Gave up last night. Turned to the bottle. That said, I still lost weight this week. Can only imagine what that number would have been Last: 266.8 This: 264.0
  • 2 people in our family have Covid. So Christmas is officially cancelled for us. A friend just got diagnosed with cancer. 2020 is going down punching and kicking til it’s last days ...

  • Yea. I am dreading those people at the gym too. With gyms here at 25% max capacity I don’t need them clogging it up for 3 weeks before they give up
  • Agreed on both things. Continually visiting the site helps keep a balance for me personally. And a “like” can be a little boost of serotonin!
  • Since this was only my 2nd visit to the gym since they reopened I have been doing full body just to get back into rhythm. And to your other comment, I hope your stress doesn’t have you to down. I let mine get me bad twice this year and that’s why I am my heaviest in many years. I finally realized my coping habits where not…
  • It really gets quiet in here around the holidays huh? Not that I’m judging since I am one who left this group in November the past two years.

  • 100% with you. I gain or maintain when I try my best. I lose when I only gave half attempts. As long as you keep trying!
  • Challenge 12/12 tracked: yes under calories: yes activity: no, resting the ankle. hoping it feels better tomorrow Sun: y/y/n
  • Challenge 12/12 tracked: yes under calories: no activity: no Last night was my ONE cheat meal I am allowing this weekend. I did have salad for lunch. • @cmhubbard92 thanks, and I promise to the team next week will be a loss Challenge 12/11 tracked: yes under calories: yes activity: yes Had a very active day at work again. Unfortunately my ankle feels worse because of it. I will take the weekend to really rest it and ice it down. I will not let this stop me. I feel good…
  • I meant 265 for the week I missed. My weight is what it is this week. A gain. I accept that. And I will lose that gain
  • Weigh In I know I missed my weigh in last week (cause I didn’t want to see that number) can my number be rolled over for week one? Last: 265.0 This: 266.8 There was a reason I didn’t want to see last weeks weight, considering this is my “progress” of trying hard all week. Also I ordered some shirts in my size online and…
  • Challenge 12/10 tracked: yes under calories: yes activity: yes Ankle is still sore so I went to the gym and lifted weights for 45 minutes.
