Wow. We took lbs and % in back to back weeks! I was reading something about his this coning week is the week when people give up on their new years resolutions. I’m very confident with everyones efforts and momentum here that we won’t be losing team members cause of that.

I love that. Small businesses really do need whatever support they can get right now. Unfortunately the Wal-Marts and Amazons will always get some of our money cause of the necessities they carry. But aside from that we only go to independently owned restaurants and such. I’m sure you earned that little treat!

Saturday we had gorgeous weather so my wife and I went to walk the Atlantic City boardwalk ... which led to us eating at one of our favorite Italian restaurants. It was a great day and I also worked out…

I hope this topic doesn't make me come across as a weird conspiracy theory guy. But since it was brought up. Sometimes I even wonder about how much information I give MFP. Also for you fitbit people, Google just purchased fitbit. So there is another giant company getting your information

That seems sketchy to me. We already have our privacy invaded enough with “smart” technology. This phone i’m typing on is more than enough. I try to limit as many things as possible. No ‘Alexa’ in my house or Ring doorbells, etc. If I could live without my smartphone I would

Since my team was the worst team in the worst division 😞 ......I am cheering for the Bills. I love watching Josh Allen play. Good luck to your team!

And also nice loss to anyone this week. And even anyone who may not have lost but still put in a good effort, great job. Sometimes the scale doesn’t cooperate. Keep at it. Consistency. That is what I am working towards this year. I want consistency more than a number goal

We are two peas in a pod cause I know the “screw it mode” all too well. Nice loss this week!

Haha. Why the “?” ? Maybe it came across odd in text ... I am very happy I lost the holiday weight in two weeks. Now I take the momentum and get the 2020 pandemic weight off

I always do my best when I keep unhealthy snacks out of the house as well. If I want a treat I have to go out and get a smaller sized version of it. My wife did just remind me that it’s almost girl scout cookie time ....

My absolute number 1 is that it’s okay to have missteps, just keep going at it right after those missteps. My worse habit is that if I have a week where I didn’t eat healthy or workout or lose weight, I tend to have an “oh well let’s just give up” attitude. I have lost significant amounts of weight three times in my life.…

@Krysless2 the point when it became easy for me to stay under calories was when I started intermittent fasting. I do 16/8, which means I only eat during an 8 hour window (11:30am - 7:30pm for me personally) I know it seems VERY intimidating, but it was honestly one of the easiest habits to pick up (for me anyway, i know…

I kind if thought the addiction to it would be kicking in. I honestly was only planning to drop it briefly but now I am wondering if this will be a permanent part of life. Hopefully. Also, thanks for asking how I am feeling. Actually still not 100% but better. I did yoga yesterday instead of going to the gym to keep it a…

We had a roast with potatoes tonight (that will be the least healthy) Tomorrow will be leftovers and the side will be birdseye pasta made out of zucchini. Turkey bacon and eggs for two nights. And for two other nights we will have chicken meatballs with green beans (instead of pasta) in spaghetti sauce

Way to go team! First in percentage AND lbs!!

@annabananamc I like how you said “personally helpful to me” I was pondering if this counts as social media. But I only look at this as a great group of supportive people helping me better myself and each other. So I think of this differently

I know this is a weight loss group, but I believe mental health and physical health go together (at least I know it does for me) I had been wanting to get rid of social media for awhile, and after the political chaos in America last week I finally did it. Just half a week without social media, the screen time on my phone…

Thanks @cmhubbard92 To end this week, today will be my rest day and my one earned(cheat?) meal of the week. But I do have all of my food bought for next week and meals planned out starting with Sunday. Enjoy your weekend everybody!

A loss is a loss. We all have those weeks where we thought we would have a big drop, it can be discouraging but don’t let it get it your head. If you know you put in a great effort this week, keep at it. Progress will come with consistency!
