I run with a group every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. Right now it is 0℉, at 6 this evening it should be down to -4℉ with a wind chill of -21℉. That will be my PR for low temps. Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to it.

Don't just look at the numbers. Learn to celebrate the Non Scale Victories in your journey. They tend to show up everywhere. Inches lost, miles ran or biked, sit ups and pushups accomplished, medications that are no longer needed. If you win enough small battles, winning the war becomes quite easy.

I tend to eat back some of my exercise calories but I usually limit it to 50% or less. It's just to easy to underestimate consumption while overestimating burn.

As a runner, I say never cotton. Cotton holds moisture and causes chafing. Chafing causes the end of workouts.

We're all desperate for something. Right now I'd kill for a double whopper but I'm more desperate to get back below 200 and run a half marathon in less than two hours. Add me and we can aid each others desperation.

Hi Emma. Adding friends is easy. Just click on someone's profile and then click "add friend". Its usually best to add an introductory note in the request.

I'm from small-town Iowa but I've graduated to Des Moines.

I use endomondo to track all my mileage based exercise. I've tried a couple different GPS trackers but in my opinion endomondo is easily the best one for me.

Lovely torso.

This could be due to your current profile picture. Maybe they are just hopeful of more in the future.

I'll be running my first official half marathon at the end of May. I ran the same event in 2013 when it was just a 20K but fell off the MFP wagon not long afterwards. I'm back with a new account and looking for new running friends.

I dropped 80 lbs with MFP in 2012 but I lost my mojo. I'm back with a brand new profile looking to start again and keep the results this time. Add me especially if you're a runner or striving to become one.
