  • OP you are not alone!! I am the same way. I think about food 24/7, I log my food for the next day the night before. I am constantly googling to find out the calories of certain foods and trying to figure out what to eat that taste great and has the least calories so I still have more of them. I also record weekly episodes…
  • So sorry you had to go thru that growing up. ((((hugs))))
  • I learned all about body wraps while attending massage school. Its water loss and gives you the illusion you've lost weight/inches but guess what happens once you drink water... I did buy the HSN (hair, skin and nail) supplements hoping it would work because I have fine, thin hair but I'm going on my second bottle and I…
  • If you have found something that will help you with that initial jump start good for you. I looked into IP I was told I could lose all my weight in 4 months how awesome would that be!! It was just too expensive for me. :) I know we all are here for many reasons whether to lose weight or to get a grip on how we eat but the…
  • I buy treats that arent too high in calories but that I like and I work them into my daily allowed calories for after I am home and get cravings.
  • I think what @Pu_239 meant to say is that the first week of weight loss is usually water loss. And yes as long as you have a caloric deficit you will lose weight regardless how you achieve it. Calories in VS calories out. Good luck!
  • I think the problems mostly lies on that we think its laying on a smooth flat surface and even if the floor looks leveled it might not be. Glad you found the solution @effinch
  • It's my graffiti tag name I from back in the 80s. and I just added the #1 to it. :)
  • I was having the same problem with my digital scale every time I d get on it would give me a different number, even after getting on and off back to back. I had it in my tile bathroom then moved it to my vinyl floor living room and still inconsistent. I called the manufacturer and they told me to tap on each corners. It…
  • Thats good news then. If that is true, then I hope my daughter's fathers MS isnt progressive. The times I had gone with him his nuero has never mentioned to him not all MS isnt progressive. I will have to go back and read up on it.
  • Yup from the title I thought it was going to be bad. Congratulations to you!!! What an awesome NSV. Keep up the good work. :)
  • My daughter's father was diagnosed in Jan 2010 and we had our daughter in Oct 2010. He was hospitalized because his whole left side became numb. We didn't know what was happening then he had the MRI, Cat Scan and spinal tap done and clear as day he a couple white specks(lesions) on his scan. Since then he has had 3 other…
  • I haven't cut any foods out completely but I do choose some foods over others depending on its nutrients and my daily calories. And if I want it bad enough then I plan my meals to make space for it.
  • I was watching the show My Little Family and they are all little people the parents and 3 kids and they had a trip I think to Washington(?) and people were taking pictures of them and the mom kept saying to the strangers, no no pictures, dont take our picture. Its just so cruel how people disregard that no matter how…
  • Omg yea like she was a side side attraction. Some ppl are so ignorant. I could see a very obese person or someone with some kid of deformity and my reaction would not be to take pictures. I'm thinking maybe the people taking pictures were just curious and it was more about seeing her and all the camera crew? Because people…
  • Yes it seemed like her mother didnt want to hear what she was saying she kept talking over her and didnt let Laura express her self and say all she had to say.
  • Did anybody see last nights episode with Laura? I was happy to see her family were all for her success and didn't enable her after she got the surgery. She did great on losing weight. Her husband does seem to love her and supports her.
  • I have a couple "friends" on here that I have requested or accepted requests to. I like reading the news feed and I don't always comment I may just LIKE it. I personally don't need anyone to push me, inspire or motivate me because ultimately it is my journey so what someone else is doing doesn't affect my outcome. At the…
  • if you went over OP luckily tomorrow is another day. :)
  • This is totally very true!!. I did Nutrisystem when I started my weight loss journey in Jan 2015 thinking that it would be much easier because I didnt have to think and plan my meals. I have kids so I still have to cook for them and after a month on the plan those prepackaged meals were just not appealing to me anymore. I…
  • Hi, 43 single mom of 2 preschoolers, working full time in a sedentary office job. Joined in Jan 2015 trying to learn and remove all the weight lose myths I have learned throughout the years. I would like to lose between 50-80 lbs.
  • Hi. I know starting is always the hardest. I think we need to want it bad enough to keep going. In order to get results you need to go at it much longer than a week or a month etc. I know we can get discouraged because we may want instant results but weight loss takes patience. There has to be a point where you mentally…
  • At the beginning of my journey I once posted my weight had increased even though I know I'm eating at a deficit and was given the "you're probably gaining muscle" I politely replied  "No I'm not doing any lifting in order to gain muscle, I'm sure it's probably water gain or body adjusting since I started walking."…
