I use a Polar FT 4 HRM. As long as you set up all the setting with your age, sex, weight, etc., it is normally fairly accurate for cardio exercises. I am on very low carbs (less than 20 total ) a day since Monday, Jan 5 and have lost 5.5 pounds. Probably water weight, but at least it is 5.5 pounds less that I have to work to get off. My first goal is 30 pounds, then another 20 after that.

Late, but in! Down 5 pounds already. Starting weight was 188, currently 182ish. Goal is at least down to 160 by the first week of April.
