First day back in the pool today in about 6 months. Took me 55 minutes to swim a mile, but in the end it felt good.

For a diabetic, 103 is a decent waking number.

Get back to swimming a mile+ 3 - 4 times a week. Totaling at least 5 miles a week.

I've got a rack at the house, and I've been practicing my benches in there just to get used to getting to heavier weights. Being at the house, I NEVER have a spotter.

It was a little high this morning because I had a big steak dinner last night - 155, but it dropped back down to normal relatively quickly.

1. Shooting to get down to about 175 lb before the end of this year which is about about 43 lbs less than I am right now. 2. There are some good fitness/diet calculators out on the web. I'd find one of those and crunch some numbers for your goal. You can usually get antibiotics without dextrose, or at least I was able to in the past when I pointed it out to them. May be worth asking about.

I'm diabetic, but my rate of loss definitely increased when I concentrated more on upping my fat consumption instead of protein.

Even eating < 30 g a day, I rarely pull a blood keytones # larger than 1.0, I know I'm dropping weight, but I would just say that everyone's body is different.
