  • Welcome, Mel! Add me as a friend if You want. I have found success in my journey and find my role now is encouraging others to do the same. Keep pushing towards your goals!
  • Time doesn't matter, except to help you feel full and that varies by individual. I wake up at 5am and have coffee then oatmeal about 9am. It works for me. Others eat right away or only eat one meal a day. You need to eat in a calorie deficit over time to lose weight. Individual meal timing is not a significant factor.
  • Not what I mean that all. I'm just trying to figure out what OP is inquiring about.
  • ^^^what she said^^^ Are you having issues with timing or diet or exercise or binging or .... We'll try to help if you give more specifics.
  • I had a similar issue. I swear my stomach got bigger as I lost weight. It didn't, but everything else got smaller so it *looked* bigger in comparison. Eventually everything evened out. Its just part of the process. Be patient and use data based conclusions, such as measurements.
  • Still a work in progress...
  • Add me! I've been here for a while and I'm active. Always looking for other active friends!
  • Massage Manicure Pedicure New hot shoes Any Athletic gear or clothing Nice containers or lunchbox if you pack Expensive good food - mine is sashimi Water bottle Facial or new makeup A new hair color, highlights, ombre etc... Awesome sunglasses
  • My chubby cheeks hold the weight! This is a 35lb difference - left recent, right 10 months ago.
  • Female, 46 years old and working hard to get it back! A 4 pack is more realistic for me, though. I've got a decent 2 pack at a 21 BMI (no clue on BF%) and know I've got another 10 pounds to go to see the 4's. I have been cutting with dilligence & determination and will continue pushing toward the goal.
  • I like when someone goes downtown, but you don't have to stay there forever. There are lots of other great places to visit.
  • Eat less and move more!
  • You've got this! A treat or splurge isn't life shattering, but a 'break' can have significant consequences. Keep pushing toward your goals. Enjoy your day!
  • You look so much younger now! Nice job
  • Good advice on the labs, thanks. Gyno is taken care of. I had a hysterectomy less than a year ago. I focused on that issue instead of general health for the past few years. I hadn't thought about vaccines. Hmmmm
  • Thanks, we always do a full panel, not just tsh, since I have history. I had a thyroidectomy 25 years ago. I do a full panel every 2 years or so, sooner if I'm symptomatic.
  • Exactly this. My mother has had bone density issues for decades, which started about my age (I'm 46). Knowledge is power - I'd like to know if there is an issue so I can take positive steps to mitigate a problem.
  • So how did you gain weight of you can't eat enough? It's a total contradiction. You gain weight when your intake exceeds your caloric expenditure. You gained 74 pounds from over eating, not under eating.
  • I see what you did there lol
  • Single word texts.
  • My best options - Wendy's: any combination of baked potato, chili, side salad, junior cheeseburger, grilled chicken wrap (no sauce) McD: grilled chicken wrap (no sauce) or an egg mcmuffin, maybe a yogurt parfait. Subway: 6" Turkey sub, loaded veggies, toasted, no sauce, feed Part of the bread to the birds, or a sub salad.…
  • Click on the user name twice, then on the web, click add friend. On the app click the icon with 2 people to send a friend request. Does that help?
  • I'm in Huron, next to Sandusky with famous Cedar Point. Everyone on this post is so far away!
  • I know runners who make their own fuel packs with honey. Maple syrup seems like a viable option, too.
  • A gradual work up is easier on the body and helps prevent injuries. You body needs some time to adjust to the extra motion and strain. If this is completely new to you, it can take weeks to months to condition slowly to a fairly comfortable run and recovery.
  • I'll put the running gear on and get outside. I tell myself I can stop or go as slow as I want. These are often very good runs, but sometimes I only run a few slow miles and walk the rest. I always feel better after, regardless of how well I ran. Basically, just show up.
  • You'll get lots of feedback on your post. I am absolutely no expert but I have two comments: 1. I don't trust anyone with a secondary agenda, such as selling me a meal plan. You're paying your trainer to improve your physique, not for a sales pitch. 2. Under eating does not stop weight loss. Otherwise there would be no…
  • Unfortunately, the better you look, the more mean girls there are. It's just jealousy. We are supposed to build each other up and celebrate successes, not drag each other down! This weekend I had a mean girl tell my date she wanted to be with him and treated me absolutely nasty. Jealous *itch. She is a model and thought…
  • Nice job on starting to run! You will be amazed at the benefits of your hard work. My best advice to you is slow down. There are still times when I push it too hard on a long run and almost run in place to catch my breath so I can finish the distance without stopping. Slow and steady is the way to go when you're starting…
  • Turkey burger, veggie burger, burger salad, grilled chicken, skip the cheese, half the bun or just half the burger, side salad, veggies or soup instead of fries, lower calorie beer if you must. Go for a walk before or after, reduce calories earlier in the day or the next day or so for a little insurance. (you can go for a…
