  • Tough Murder in training here!! August in Toronto. My first , my husbands 5th. Hoping to get in a few 5km races between now and then but not sure how to prepare for the 20+km of running uphill for the Mudder.
  • I think we're pretty close! 37 year old mom of 2 5'7 HW: 201 while pregnant CW: 150 GW: 140? We are different body shape though, I carry all my weight in my top and belly, I'm prety happy with my legs and butt!
  • I would love to join. I've been going strong since January but would love to have some added motivation to go that extra mile.
  • The picture of your lovely family with the green shirts on is so beautiful. What an amazing gift you have given each other. I wish you all continued success ...you've made my day.
  • Those are some great results! I love the program too, just finishing up week 3. I find the workouts very efficient without the fluff in other programs that fill up the full hour. I can see and feel transformation already. Hope you win your competition! My weight seems to be at a plateau but I really don't care much..I can…
  • Shin splints are in the front muscle of your leg (usually the tibial anterior ,a muscle that is flexed when you lift up your big toe). The only way to get rid of it is rest. You can try to ice/ heat alternating every 20 minutes and then stretch the muscle. Self massage while working up the leg towards the knee can also…
  • I too struggle with the pulls ups. I put a chair under my pull up bar and do as much as I can. Keep at it and just give it your all. The Challenge workout will help you greatly! I did this method last round and I couldn't believe that I could do 3 pull ups by the end! Keep at it and you will kick *kitten*! I love Tony…
  • I use either a pita for a base or make a cauliflower based crust. It's a bit labour intensive but it actually tastes pretty good. There are recipes for it all over Pinterest.
  • On day 6 of my second round. I love this program. Have tried a few other programs since completing my first round of X3 and came back to it...nothing else compares to the results I got from it. Can't wait to see where another round will take me. Feel free to add me for support/ enciuragenent/ mutual complaining of sore…
  • Congratulations! you look great and sounds like you are feeling great too!
  • Starting tomorrow after doing the whole 90 days this time last year!Starting out in a much better shape this time so I'm really excited to see amazing results!
  • I woke up feeling thin today. Nothing spectacular or different about today, I just woke up and immediately felt good about how I am treating my body. It's encouraging me to keep going.
  • You can figure it out if you have a heart rate monitor I'm 36, 5.7" and weigh 152. I typically burn between 220-250 for a session of T25.
  • I'm in! 36 year old mom of a 2 year old boy and 4 year old girl. Have lost about 10 have another 15 to go. Would love to join. Anyone from Canada? It's freezing and hard to get motivated to take of the parka and put on the workout gear! On day 18 of T25 without missing a day so far but I don't want to lose the motivation !
  • Here's to taking time to look after ourselves and being better moms for it!
  • Has everyone done their workout for the day? I need to really focus on not allowing every weekend to be an eating and drinking free for all. I want to just get through this weekend of staying within my calories and working out both days. That will be a major win for me. Anyone else really good during the week but lose it…
  • Love seeing all these moms wanting to take time to look after themselves. We definitely need support, especially after those long days when the kids are making you crazy and you don't have time to workout until after they are in bed and all you really want to do it lay on the couch, drink wine and eat something delicious.…
  • Looks like I have some common goals with both of you. I just joined mfp but have been active and eating healthy for the past few years, with the usual setbacks ( injury, illness, lazy, work, kids, pizza). Have 2 little kids and started T25 4 days ago. Would like some more friends for motivation.
  • I am looking to lose about 15 pounds but more importantly, I need to stay accountable with working out everyday. I'm new to MFP and would like a few friends who are working towards similar goals.
  • How's everyone doing g so far ? I did total body circuit today and loved it. Just the right kind of challenge for me. Can't wait until I can actually do it without modifications !
  • P90x3 was the only program I wanted to stick with. It transformed my body and relieved my back pain to the point of changing my life! I did not miss a single day in the entire program because I looked forward to the workouts and couldn't believe how quickly and completely I saw results. Good luck to all those starting out,…
  • I have lived with a double herniation for 12 years now. It was only when I developed a strong core that I found pain relief. Some exercises definitely aggravated my back but the end result was life changing. I can play with my kids again! P90 x3 from beachbody was the program that worked for me. It has tonnes of balance…
  • I need a push t get my workout in today. Don't have time to workout until the kids are in bed at 8:30 tonight and I'm already tired!
  • I started yesterday. Not sure what to think yet. I loved p90x3, and am just looking for variety. Yes, it was good cardio but I hope it ramps up on the strength training too!
  • I started yesterday. My 5th beachbody program. Liked p90x3 the best so far but looking forward to seeing what t25 is all about.
  • Are you still training for your event? I am doing one in August here in Canada. My husband has done 5 already and is addicted.
  • I am new to MFP and am looking to lose about 17 pounds . I am 5.7" and currently weigh 157. Lost all the baby weight but now want to be super fit! I tend to hit a plateau on weight loss as I ramp up my fitness and need motivation to keep going and stop focusing on the scales. Training for a Tough Murder in August
