Day 1: did some Turbo...remembered that I don't really like it! Day 2:. Battle buddies with my husband. Can't wait to be able to do that one easily again, it was a bit brutal today.

That's some real progress! Hope you felt fabulous wearing it :-)

I can definitely relate to this. Great job staying on track, it's not easy, but feels so good the next day when you wake up knowing you didn't blow it the night before!

Looking forward to this challenge...especially in the lead up to the holidays:-)

Fitness blender for sure. Also beach body on demand has a huge variety of short workouts, for a low cost...and no,I don't sell it,I just love their programs!

I second the Hal Higdon plan. I'm in week 6 of the 5-10km novice program. gradual increase in distance while keeping focused on strength and stretching to supplement. I'm very prone to injury with long runs, but so far, so good, with thus program.

I'm on week 4 of Hal Higdons 5to10km program. I workout everyday , run 3x a week and am training for a couple of 10km races this summer and a tough mudder in August. Am currently nursing a lower leg injury, but I'll keep on going. Feel free to friend me

I'm training for a mudder in August and completed X3 last month. Do the program, do extra running, especially hills and go find a playground to practice monkey bars. I do a circuit subs me neighborhood, running between playground...2-3kms, then doing the monkey bars, then on to the next one. Feeling ready for the run soon.…

I think I'll try to create a group when I have a bit more time. Anyone else in?

Thanks for the replies ladies..sent friend requests to you all. Going to purge some of the slothy, negativity on my news feed!

Used it a couple of times in a pinch. Gets boring pretty fast though. You can get tabata or hiit apps that do the timing for you so you can mix it up.

I just found Hal Higdon. 5-10km run program ( Google it). Love it so far, you run 3 times a week and cross train and do weight training on off days. I find it great to make sure you don't do too much too fast and avoid injury. Feel free to friend me if you want a training buddy . I'm on week 3 of the novice program.

I treat TRX like a HIIT workout and my heart rate average is about 160-170bpm. So for me it is accurate, I burn more doing trx than on a 5km run,but I work really hard too
-
Completely depends on your gender, age, weight, level of fitness, exertion. Best way to measure is to wear a heart rate monitor ( chest strap) . For me, 37 female , 145 lbs in good shape it would burn around 300 calories if I worked really hard for the whole 30 minutes. Hope that helps

Just finished my second round about a month ago. Its my favorite of the P90 series. Good luck, hope you love it:-)

I found that although I was losing more quickly, 1200 calories was just too low for me. I was becoming obsessed with figuring out what I could eat and portions and creative ways that I could max out on food while keeping calories low. I upped it to 1360 and it made a huge difference for me. That little bit of extra…

Be easy on yourself..you're only 10 weeks post baby. It can take up to 6 months just for your organs to go back to their usual place Your body needs time to recover and heal. You have to eat enough calories to support nursing or your milk supply will go down...that being said, you don't' have to overeat either. Core…

Hi, Yes, it's Amy:) I don't' have any magic tricks to losing your belly...mine (although smaller) is still here:( My greatest success has been doing P90X3. It incorporates cardio, body weight, strength training and flexibility. I also run about 3 times a week. Finding something that will fit your lifestyle is the key I…

P90x3 will definitely give you definition. Was just looking at my arms...I can see bicep, delts , and triceps...and I still have 4 weeks left of the program.

You tube is a great resource for at home workouts. As a fellow busy mom,I completely relate to the time press and I only workout at home, outdoors or at the indoor track if I can sneak away for a bit. If there's a will, there's a way. And remember, taking time to look after yourself is not self-indulgent, as a mom, it's…

How old are you,do you have children? Weight loss slows down dramatically as we age and after children! I say ditch the scale (maybe weigh in once a month) ,get a tape measure and start doing body measurements. You WILL see those numbers change if you are sticking to a calorie deficit and are working out. I've lost about…

Feel free to add me. I'm a Canadian 36 year old mom of 2 under 5. I'm 5.7" and am at my lowest weight since university at 147lbs. I've been logging on to MFP since the new year and am on week 6 of my second round of P90x3. Totally committed to continuing to see how far I can go...but also give myself off days because…

I have about a liter as soon as I wake up to get things going in the morning and use an app on my phone for reminders throughout the day.

Definitely lots of upper body and cardio training. I'm doing P90X3 and am loving the improvement in upper body strength. Planning a running/ playground circuit to do through our town to prepare for some of the obstacles as soon as the snow melts ( At this rate that won't be till June!)
