I love the arc trainer at Planet Fitness! I usually do 45 minutes of the weight loss program. It's awesome!

I have the same problem! I can't leave the kids alone to go to the gym, even if they're sleeing. I do T25, its a beach body workout, after my kids go to bed. It's a 25 minute workout and it's awesome!

Go to settings, then Food and Exercise Diary Settings and scroll down to "meal names"

Hi Gemma! I had the same problem! I'm a single mom so once my 3 & 5 year old are in bed I can't just leave and go to the gym; I would catch up on my DVR and snack! I ended up investing in T25 and now I do that at about 8...my dinner has a chance to settle, I relax a little after working all day and then I do my 25 minute…

I can relate to this. I'm a horrible cook, and I hate doing it. My kids are 3 and 5 and are okay eaters. My 5 year old loves broccoli and my 3 year old loves eggplant! I also recommend a crock pot. I personally don't use one because meat gets a little mushy and I don't like that but everyone else raves about them. I also…

I'm working off baby weight too! My kids are 3 & 5 LOL.

I go to PF! I love it! I use the arc trainer for cardio. I burn about 750 calories in 45 minutes. Some of the locations, mine included, have a 30 minute express workout circuit. I do that too. If I don't want to do the entire thing I just use the arm machines. Then I use the tanning booth and grab a tootsie roll on my way…

I've been doing it a circuit training. I know people with Fitbit or other monitors log it as T25 and put in the calories it says they burned. It's probably more accurate than what I do but what I'm doing is working for now!

I have about 7 pairs of Old Navy yoga pants. They are so comfy and affordable!

I did cross fit for months and loved it. You'll be sore at first but it gets better. The results come fast so it's worth being sore for a day or two. I'll probably catch some grief for this from fitness people on here but I would recommend taking some Motrin after your first couple of workouts!

I'm in! Are you starting a group? Can you post the link here? I curreny check in daily with another group and its been really helpful!

I just finished week 1. I love that I can do it in 25 minutes after my kids go to bed. I feel great. The workouts are hard but they go by fast! It's only been a week, I've lost 3 lbs but the big change is that my clothes are already starting to fit better.

I just finished week 1 day 4. I do T25 when I can't get to the gym. I love the work out and feel great after doing them!
-
I log it as the elliptical. The calories MFP logs are always very close to what the arc trainer at PF says I burned. I use the weight loss program on it and enter my weight so it should be pretty accurate. And BTW...I love that machine!

Please add me! I work full time and have 2 kiddos, 5 & 3. I have been doing well so far with working out. On the nights I have a sitter I head to the gym after the kids are in bed, on nights I don't have a sitter, I do T25!

I'm 30 and need to lose at least 40 lbs! Please add me!

Funny you say that....my 5 year old daughter did T25 with me yesterday. She could do the entire workout! Talk about motivation!

I'm divorced (and couldn't be happier about it!) It was final 10/10/14. I have 2 kids that live with me full time so completely understand the exercise issue. I've been doing T25 after they go to bed and it's working great, and it's only 25 minutes so I still have time for dinner, dishes, laundry, prep for next day,…

What about running? The couch to 5K app is great. Running is an amazing way to clear your mind, the "runner high" is a real thing! It's a way to focus on something other than eating. Your goal could be to run a 5K. It doesn't require you to pay for anything (other than the $2.99 app) and you can run whenever you want.…

I'm getting a tape measure today so I can log measurements next week. This week I'm down 3 lbs!

Right now I'm also doing cardio. The arc trainer at planet fitness is amazing! It burns crazy calories but isn't hard on your body. I also do some weights, just my arms. I'm trying to lose the jiggle there so I can wave at people again! I do T25 too. I do that on the nights I can't make it to the gym. I'm a single mother…

Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm 30 with 2 children. I want to lose about 65lbs too. Add me if you'd like! It sounds like we're in a similar situation!

I'm doing T25! It's a great workout and it's only 25 minutes. I have the same trouble trying to get to the gym, my kids go to bed at 7 and there is nobody else here so I can't just leave and go to the gym. T25 has been great, it's so short I have time to workout, eat dinner and shower all after the kids go to bed! I'm just…

I'm in MA!!

You probably can, and for 1 month of losing 10 lbs I don't think that would be unhealthy. If you wanted to lose 10 lbs a month for 6 months I might have a different opinion. I don't think apple day is healthy, that is a ton of sugar but you could try reduced carbs along with the reduced calories, that should help!
-
I'll most likely be having eggplant! Next time I go food shopping I'm getting spaghetti squash, I've been dying to try it!
-
I was the same way, I would come in the house and grab whatever I could find. Drinking water is a great suggestion. Maybe even drink some on the way home so you feel full when you get there. I have 2 kids to feed, bathe and get to bed so I use them as a distraction to keep me from eating. I'll also empty the dishwasher or…

Have you talked to your PCP? They may have some advice for you. or maybe hypnosis?

I use the arc trainer at planet fitness, it's amazing. I use the weight loss program, it alternates incline and resistance to keep you burning maximum calories. The calories burned depends on weight too, but I burn about 750 calories in 45 minutes which is way more than I ever could on a treadmill.

Hi everyone! I'm new too, started Monday. I want to lose 65 lbs. I'm active on the boards and with groups, it helps keep me motivated. Please feel free to add me as a friend!
