  • A trip to the water park and the beach with the family yesterday. Everyone had fun and I didn't get sunburned this time...winning!
  • Went for a run last night and actually ran for 20 minutes without stopping B) I also got a mini workout reinstalling my sons car seats. It took me 10 minutes to free the buckle from between the seats. Then it took me forever to figure out how to secure the seats. I was sweating like I had finished a short run. Whew!
  • Way to go ladies! I need to get back on a program and stick to it. The husband and I were able to get in a run this morning while the boys hung out with their grandparents. Happy 4th of July!
  • I don't like Fire 45 either. Whenever it was on the schedule, I would switch it for 45EZ depending on my mood. I think today is Pure Cardio and I am hoping there isn't a bunch of jumping.
  • OMG! Just finished the Insanity Cardio Power and Resistance workout...time to get cleaned up. I am sure my neighbors are happy I am done lol. I miss the music from TurboFire!   • Haha! My mom would say the same thing..."turn off that tv! It is storming outside." I just finished the plyometric cardio circuit. It was more like it finished me off! The people in the video were also falling to the floor and one guy was struggling through the warm up (I felt his pain too.)
  • Knocked out a short run/walk this morning B) I am sore from that Insanity fit test. I need to figure out how to modify some of these moves too. Have a great day on purpose!

  • Thanks! When you have a bunch of kids and work with even more, you have no choice but to be fun sometimes lol. I managed to get a 3.31 mile run/brisk walk in this morning without the kids (pancakes may have been used as a distraction).   • Has it been two weeks?! I must have misplaced a week. And yes they are a major workout. I will see if I can do a TF workout today. I managed to catch a cold in 90 degree weather and I feel horrible.

  • Hey there! I took an extendEd break from TF and working out. I just didn't have the energy! There was and is so much going on right now that it was draining! I went on a walk/run and I'm not sore B)
  • Took my oldest two sons out with me for a run. We saw a snake and was warned about another one by a cyclist. My oldest tried to tap out before we hit the 1 mile mark lol. We ended up doing 2 miles which wasn't too bad.
  • I agree we need I keep the group going. I feel bad because I have been slacking off with my TF. It seems like once the weather started getting nicer the harder it is for me to get motivated. These 80+ temps are not for me!

  • I knocked out HIIT 30 and Upper 20 after a relaxing weekend. I set my Runkeeper app this afternoon when I walked some students to the bus stop. It was about a 1 mile round trip...every little bit helps B)
  • Fire 55 is complete! My 3 year old decided to join me for the finales lol. Nothing is quite as cute as a toddler trying to keep up with Chalene!
  • Just finished up a 2 mile walk with my 6 year old. He was excited about getting to wear my weight lifting gloves lol. I ended up carrying his scooter for the last mile. I need to find a smoother route for our walks so he can actually ride the scooter.

So needed the stress relief after my work day. My students are going stir crazy and we have about a month left of school :#
  • Great work everyone! I got in a nice run-walk this morning before the heat arrived. I am not a big fan of hot weather (80+). It was my longest distance and time! I'm thinking I will do Fire 55 while the kids are taking a nap.
  • Worked out last night and I was drenched! HIIT 30 for the first time and I even did some of the jumps B) I am always wondering if the next door neighbors can hear all the jumping. I try to get my workouts done before 10pm.
  • Finally got up and did my HIIT 15 and Upper 20 workout from yesterday. Week 17 has officially started for me!
  • I really need to get back on these TF workouts. The move really threw me off. My 6 year old asked me for some athletic gloves yesterday so his hands won't itch holding on to his scooter handles lol.

  • Got in a little workout with my son today! I walked and jogged while he rode his scooter. I even did a few bicep curls while carrying his scooter up the hills lol. We did 2.5 miles which isn't bad for a 6 year old :)
  • Way to go everyone! I have been slacking off with Turbo Fire this week. I only did Stretch 40 and fell asleep on my yoga mat at the end. I was awaken by a pillow hittin me in the face. My hubby is such a comedian lol. I will start Week 17 on Monday and just do some TF workouts for the next couple of days.
